About Dee’s Pet Services (Manukau/Manurewa/Takanini area)
My name is Daniela - but everyone calls me Dee - and I’m a qualified vet nurse with over 12 years experience. Over the years I have found that for people who are working full-time, it can be a real struggle to get time off to take their pets to the vet and/or pick them up at the end of the day. It certainly has been so for me personally, o
n many occasions. Due to your busy life, or perhaps due to a health issue, you may find it a challenge to take your precious fur-baby to the vets. You can book me to take your pet to the vet, or pick it up from the vet, or both! You can even ask that I stay for an appointment. There is, of course, a different cost for each of these services. Message me with your requirements and I will provide you with a quote. You can also use my services if you are away from home and need someone to feed your pets for you once a day. As I’m also in employment, we will need to be a bit specific about your appointments, to ensure that they align with my availability. Message me with your needs and we’ll sort something out. If you live outside my service area, or your vet is outside the service area, hit me up for a quote and to check on my schedule/availability. If you have any questions about me and my services, feel free to message me with these also. I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I can!

Since Covid arrived in 2020, most vets are no longer able to offer house-calls, due to huge workloads and staff shortages. Often, the reason for a house-call request is euthanasia, as it is more comforting to say goodbye to a furbaby at home, rather than taking them to the clinic.
My Vet friend Kylie Kim is offering a home euthanasia service. I have a feeling that once word gets around, she is going to be a busy lady.
Kylie is caring, empathic, and great at her job, and will make an emotional and difficult journey just that little bit easier ❤.
As veterinary nurses, we often get stray cats and dogs brought into clinics, which we always scan for microchips. It is great to see how many pets are micro-chipped!
However, only too often the owners can't be contacted, because the contact details are no longer current. This is not so great.
When was the last time you checked that your contact details are still up-to-date? Why not check them now? Here's the link to the national data base:
