Creating a culture of success is important to us. After all, it is one of our values.
So with that in mind, each month we recognise those team members who have gone above and beyond through our 'Caught Doing Good' rewards and recognitions programme.
Brooke, Vet Nurse at our Paeroa clinic recently won this for doing an amazing job setting up a regular puppy pre-school after work. They've become so popular, she runs them back to back from our Waihi and Paeroa clinics with people on a waiting list.
Well done Brooke. This is a great initiative and we've had great feedback from our customers.
Congratulations to Massey University School of Veterinary Science on organising a successful Career Expo for students heading into 5th year.
A special shout out to Danielle Thomson, Claudia Uka, Melissa Veltman and Ali Hunter for hosting our event (alongside Veterinary Enterprises, VetLife, VetNZ and Veterinary Centre) the night before, and helping us get the word out about opportunities with Franklin Vets.
Thank you to everyone that came to the Hilltop, stopped by our stand at the expo, and listened to both our clinic presentation and Ali"s talk on standing out as a candidate and what goes into a job offer. You asked great questions and we loved connecting with you all.
Remember to email [email protected] to organise your clinic placements.
We pride ourselves on being locally owned and operated, and see this as a key part of our success.
What does that mean?
Well, all 20 of our owners work in the business, live locally and are part of the communities they work in. And what could be better than that.
Watch Dr Matt Wong sharing what being a shareholder means to him. You can watch the full video on our website.

Happy Vet Nurse & Vet Tech Appreciation Week to all our wonderful hard-working Vet Nurses & Vet Techs. We value and appreciate all that you do and the difference you make 🐶🐱🐮
Proud of the Pukekohe Large Animal team (along with some team members from the Support Office) who chose the Breast Cancer Foundation’s 10km Pink Ribbon Walk as their team building activity recently. Thank you team for representing Franklin Vets, celebrating survivors, remembering those lost, and raising funds and awareness. We think we look very good in our pink tutus too!
