To round the weekend off UNUSUAL GEM won the Matt Neill Building Ltd Maiden 2200 at Waverley today.

A beautiful ride by Madan Singh who took luck out of the equation to sit outside the leader and control the race from there.

The favourite child award for today surely goes to me doesn't it Nigel and Adaire Auret?

Rolling into Saturday the good luck continued with stable graduate She's Unusual (Unusual Suspect x La Fille En Jeu) winning in superb fashion at Rosehill. After winning both trials and again on debut she was acquired by OTI Racing and has been magnificently handled by John O'Shea and his team.

What a great weekend's racing - it all started off on Friday night with stable graduate Romantic Encounter (Ghaiyyath x Romantic Whisper 3YO Colt) running a slashing second in the Group 2 Bill Stutt Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday night after winning impressively on debut.

A massive congratulations to the Lindsay Park juggernaut.
