3yr old QH gelding looking for a new home. Reckless Driver x Bonitas Little Wimpy.
Recently been started under saddle and had a further couple of months training. Suitable for Rodeo or Ranch Horse. No buck or dirt but will need an experienced, capable rider.

Axle is looking for a new home.
2yr old QH gelding.
Sired by Reckless Driver (Hydrive Cat USA x I Whiz First), and out of Iron Maiden (Riarmas TheLastStraw x Billarita).
Axle has had a mimimal amount of handling but what he has had he has proven to be sensible. Leads, ties up and had feet trimmed. EMH 15hh. Strong and well grown, I’ll be starting him in Autumn if he isn’t sold prior and price will go up.

I didn’t make it to Equifest this year but enjoyed seeing this family of horses taking part in the Reining and Ranch Riding clinics with Craig Johnson. Two are by our stallion Melody Jay (Whizzel) and one out of a daughter of Whizzel.
Two I bred, I get so much satisfaction seeing horses I have bred getting out and being enjoyed by their new owners 🤩

Run in small groups of 2-3 riders, one session on Saturday and one on Sunday.

This guy is still available.
Such a good minded, cruisy weanling. Hadn’t been touched for 2 months and we caught him like an old seasoned horse and stood quietly to get his feet trimmed.
I would love to have to opportunity to train him for his new owner.

A sneak peek into the horses I had in training over the summer months. I was lucky to have a few nice show horses and some promising 2 year olds in work.
Now I’m currently out of action for 5 months following planned shoulder surgery. I’m looking forward to getting back on board around September 👏

Straw was trained and shown by me here in NZ before being shown successfully in Australia, he is now for sale by his new owner Rachel Malcolm in the South Island.

2024 AQHA-NZ National Show.
Ima Smokin Hot Lady (Luna) and I unfortunately didn’t have the show to end our time together like we were hoping 😔 Something wasn’t right with her but we managed to get in the show pen for the last couple of days showing. It was disappointing as we had a great season together but horse showing doesn’t always go the way we hope for. We still managed some decent placing with a highlight for me being placed well in the big Open Horsemanship class.
A big thank you to her owners Nicky Clayden and Dean for all your help during the show with her and the other show horses aswell, it was hugely appreciated!
