"I am 23 years old, with a huge passion for animals. I live in the Mount Maunganui area with my 2 large female dogs. I currently study animal psychology online at home, and have 2 years previous experience as a animal nutritionalist. I have been trained how to greet dogs the right way, how to read body language of a dog and how to break up fights.

I have experience with both aggressive and timid dogs. I have recused and fostered 2 pitbulls recently who were due to be put down, both these dogs were human and dog aggressive.

"Hello! I’m Aimee, your friendly pet sitting photographer located in the Bay of Plenty. With a passion for animals and photography, I wanted to offer a unique pet sitting service that combines the two!

Having grown up in a rural town, I’ve cared for a variety of outdoor and indoor pets, from dogs and cats to sheep, goats and chickens. I’m always open to looking after and interacting with a new animal! I now live in Papamoa Beach with my partner, Ragdoll Cat Cleo and SPCA adopted cat Dave.

Here’s what you can expect from my visit/stay:

– Daily updates with a mix of videos and photos showing what we’ve been up to.
– Lots of cuddles, playtime and/or walks for your pet.
– Candidly captured images of your pet’s unique personality, professionally edited and shot on camera which you will receive digitally for free afterwards.
– I carry my own treats and toys for your cat/dog to enjoy!

Whether you need someone to pop in and say hello to your fur baby, provide overnight care while you’re on holiday or at an event, or want your pet to be part of special moments like your wedding but they require supervision, I’m here to help out and make sure your pet feels loved and has all of their needs meet, so you can relax without worrying.

K9Hub was the brainchild of Anita Read, who has been petsitting worldwide for over 10 years.

“I have been petsitting worldwide for over 10 years. As with most businesses it started out as a necessity. I was living in New Zealand and my eldest daughter was living in the UK. We wanted to see each other for extended periods but living together for months on end didn’t work! I decided that as an animal lover, I would start pet sitting. I managed to spread the word, subscribed to a few websites and before I knew it I had actually become one! I haven’t looked back and love every minute of this fantastic, amazing and rewarding job. Love the animals and I get to meet great people and live in some of the most beautiful homes ever – I’m very lucky. I’m always very particular about keeping the pet’s routine and following rules. The pets are the most important aspect of my job but I want the owners to come back to a clean and tidy house so I pride myself on keeping each house as if it were my own.” - Anita
