Yesterday we held a lameness workshop for farmers to learn more about preventing and treating lame cows and gain experience trimming cattle hooves.

Marvin from our Greymouth team took participants through some theory (which included fun interactive elements!) and then helped them get hands-on with hooves to practice their skills with a hoof knife.

Thanks to everyone who came along! We hope you got a lot out of it and had a great time.

Please be aware, images contain photos of animal body parts which some may find uncomfortable.

What a great outcome!
2 years ago, Fluffy was on her way to an appointment at the vets, when she escaped from her cat cage. She was last seen running across the road, to the creek area at Dixon Park. Flyers were handed out, many an hour was spent looking and calling, with no success.
Fast forward two years, and a stray cat was brought in to the clinic. The first thing to do was check for a microchip. A quick search on the database and then the phone call to the very surprised family.
A great reason to get your cat microchipped!
Fluffy in her favourite box, 2 years ago, and looking very much back at home, now.
