Personality: Dakota was living in the bush by a busy street with her young kitten. At first, she’s a bit shy around new people and may hiss if she feels scared, but she’s never shown any aggression in her foster home. Once she gets comfortable, Dakota is incredibly affectionate and even dribbles with love. She loves tummy and b***y scratches and is very food-driven, especially when it comes to Temptations treats.

Ideal Home: While she’s not fond of being picked up, Dakota has been fostered with other cats, whom she adores, and is used to older children who approach her gently. She’s cautious around dogs. To help her adjust, Dakota should be kept in a smaller room initially, where she can bond with her new family without feeling overwhelmed or having too many places to hide. Her new adopter will need to be patient and give her the time she needs to settle in.

Personality: Mr Meowgy came to us full of fear and with just a few hours with his foster mum, he settled in and started to let his guard down. He is now able to show his full personality off! Me Meowgy was affectionately named due to how much he 'talks' (so much). He also loved to play with string toys, feather wands, mouse toys and he equally loves a good cuddle or a pat, curling up on the couch with you to watch TV.

Ideal Home: Ideal Home would be without young children, and he would absolutely flourish with another cat friend. He is not bothered by the 2 small cat savvy dogs in his foster home either.

SNIP ‘N’ CHIP COMES TO AUCKLAND! 🙌🐱

We are excited to be launching a new Snip ‘n’ Chip campaign for cat owners in the Auckland region.

From 12 March 2025 we are working with local participating veterinary clinics to offer this service to cat owners who are struggling with the cost of desexing and microchipping. Vouchers help those in need get their cat desexed and microchipped for $30.

Bookings are now OPEN! 👉 Click the link in the comment section to check if vouchers are available in your area and register for your Snip ‘n’ Chip voucher.

If you know someone who needs help with the online system, you can help by completing the registration with them. Thank you so much to our participating vet clinics for helping us to make this important campaign possible.

PLEASE REMEMBER - a limited number of vouchers are available to help those who require financial assistance. Please, only get a voucher if you need one and intend to use it. In the past, we have noticed some vouchers were never used, or bookings were made with vet clinics and never attended 💔 When this happens, it prevents someone else from using the voucher who might really need it.

Personality: Millie is a smoochy and talkative girl. She loves attention and will weave all through your legs and rub all over you to get pats. If you're not paying her attention she'll meow and chirp until you do! She loves sharpening her claws, so a scratching post is a must if you want to save your furniture. She loves treats but only once you're in her good books. She may take a day or two to settle into her new home but once she's content she's a delight to have around.

Ideal Home: Millie may take time to adjust to other cats in her household, but she doesn't mind young responsible children. She would love to be given access to the outdoors when the time is right.

Personality: My name is Shania because I have a big singing voice! l and I am a very sweet girl who is fully litter trained (but will need to know where the litter box is at all times in my new home until I get adjusted), I have very good manners and am polite almost all the time, but don't tease me with bare toes under blankets! I have fancy topside racing stripes, with a ringtail and cute spotted belly as well as a big tabby M on my forehead, can you see it? My sweet cherub face matches my friendly personality and my ears have pretty brown tips. I am expert at laundry basket surfing, tennis ball chasing and open dresser draw hiding. I have superb purring abilities
and provide a high-quality patting experience. Experienced at underbed ambushing and dinner plate rustling (a throw back from my younger hardscrabble days), running and jumping. Fond of catnip, napping on laps and always up for some pet milk. My foster Mum says I am a sweet and gentle young cat and once I grow into my ears and tail I will be a beautiful affectionate companion for my lucky human. So you can always find me, I will come running if called by tapping a fork on a plate and calling putty putty putty! I know I will get a treat! My favourite treat of all is some Jimbos Kangaroo! Otherwise my everyday food is Royal Canin Mother and Baby cat kibble until I get bigger.

Ideal Home: I am ready to find my forever home and to be the best friend I can be.
My ideal home is with any one who will love me and give me lots of attention!

Personality: Jem is an incredibly sweet boy with beautiful big round golden eyes. He really has become a different, more confident cat in his current foster home. He will now seek out pats and cuddles, greeting his foster mum each morning with a long conversation about what he had done over night. Jem happily snuggles on the couch waiting for the good boy pats. He especially loves belly rubs! His favorite spot is on one of the cat towers, in the sunshine, where he can watch the birds and the world outside. He is a super special boy and his foster mum is so proud of how far he's come.

Ideal Home: Jem deserves a patient home that can allow him to feel safe and settle in at his own pace. He finds younger children a bit overwhelming, but cat savvy kids 12+ should be fine. As a shy boy, it's really important you keep Jem indoors for a couple of months so he can fully settle in to the sights, sounds and smells of his new home. Jem has a gorgeous personality and I know he will win your heart.

Personality: Miss Miss is an absolute sweetheart who is just happy to be around and loved by people. An ex-street cat, she is a little timid in new environments and around loud noises, but she opens up very quickly and is extremely smoochy, cuddly, trusting, and loving. She will follow you around wherever you go and enjoys simply cuddling up with you while you go about your day.

Ideal Home: While she has lived outside, an indoor lifestyle would suit her best due to her slightly skittish and overly friendly nature. She is a chatty cat, but not a loud one, as her meows are very soft and quiet. All in all, she is a polite little girl who wants nothing more than to take it easy and enjoy the luxury of an indoor home after a rough start living on the streets. She is known to do well with toddlers and older children.

Personality: Chad is an incredibly affectionate boy who loves being picked up and cuddled. He enjoys spending his days exploring and soaking up all the attention he can get.
Chad reacts to topical flea treatment (was given a steroid injection to help), we recommend using a Seresto flea collar instead. The vets also suggest adding some dental biscuits into his food given his age.

Ideal Home: Chad does not like other cats or dogs. He is great with children 8 years+.
As he has been outside for a while please keep him secure inside for the next month to ensure he knows where his new home is.

This affectionate and chatty girl will be your little shadow, following you around and soaking up all the chin scratches she can get. She adores human company and has so much love to give.

Ideal Home: After the stress of raising her babies, Angel experienced some mild hair loss, but now that her kittens have moved on, she’s settling in beautifully and looking better every day. A calm and loving home will help her fully relax and thrive. She’d do best in a quieter home with no children, or with older, gentle kids. While she doesn’t mind other cats, she would love to have a human all to herself.

Personality: Once she knows you, Cece is very affectionate and smoochy. She is not a fan of being picked up but over time we are sure she will improve. She has a look of a Bengal with lots of spots, and is long and lean. Cece has a very high play drive and we would recommend lots of toys including wand toys and ping pong balls. She can get a little over-excited and may try and tap you with her paw. She doesn't have claws out but is looking to play.

Ideal Home: Cece will be ok in a home with children 12+ years, as well as with dogs and other cats.
