Want to try something approved for use in organic farming to help with calving? Try our homeopathic remedy, Caulphyllym, a uterine tonic for pre-calving.

This will help strengthen the uterus for birth and help with contractions, even if labour has stalled. Ideally, it's great to use it six weeks before calving and for late calvers.

In a recent study, sows were randomly assigned to receive either homeopathic Caulophyllum 30C or placebo to determine if the former affected reducing the number of stillbirths experienced by these sows. On analysis, it was found that the sows given Caulophyllum had a stillbirth rate of 11.5%, and those given placebo had a rate of 26%, showing quite clearly that the homeopathic medicine successfully reduced the rate of stillbirths.

Worms can cause many problems with horses. Some can be mild, while others can be severe and even life-threatening.

Small Strongyles (Cyathostomin spp) are horses' most prevalent intestinal worms. If left untreated, they can cause diarrhea and weight loss and can cause severe damage to the wall of the intestines.

Large Strongyles or Blood Worms (Strongylus edentatus, Strongylus vulgaris, Triodontophorus spp) are blood-sucking parasites. They can cause fever, loss of appetite, emaciation, depression, abdominal pain and discomfort, colic and occasionally, the horse may develop diarrhoea.

Tapeworms (Anoplocephala perfoliata) can grow between 70cm and 10 meters long and can cause failure to thrive, irritability, colic, and diarrhea.

Roundworms (Parascaris equorum) primarily affect young horses, especially if under 2 years old. They can damage the liver and lungs, causing pneumonia and coughing. The adult roundworm lives in the small intestine of the horse, where they produce its eggs. A single female can lay anything from 100,000 to 200,000 eggs a day.

Pinworms cause irritation and itching around the re**um area.

Botfly Larvae attach to the horse's stomach lining, potentially causing mouth inflammation and irritation.

To help prevent worm infestations:
- Clean up manure 1-2 times per week
- Rotate pastures regularly
- Groom horses and check for signs of worms

Mastitis is a common and costly issue in dairy herds that affects the udder of cows. We have a remedy to help support an individual cow and even the whole herd! Even better, our remedies are approved for organic farming!

MB Nosode is a natural remedy containing remedies made from the most common bacteria found to cause mastitis. This remedy is fabulous to help prevent mastitis before it even happens.
High Somatic Cell Count

If you have a high cell count, start with MB Nosode in the water trough for the whole herd. Do this once daily for 3-6 days. Then, move to PSSC, which can be used on the entire herd level for four days, or treat any cows showing signs of mastitis individually. MB Nosode to help reduce and stablise the cell count in dairy production animals.

It has controlled the spread of mastitis and has stopped our SCC from jumping around. With all the rain, there often comes a lot of mud. Mud fever, also known as the greasy heel, is a skin infection caused by the micro-organism Dermatophilus congolensis, which invades damaged and damp skin and is a bacterial cross-fungal infection.

Mugal assists the body's natural response to this onset; it is a natural remedy for Mud fever, Rain Scald, and fungal and thrush infections in horses.

Mugal comes in a liquid form, as we find this is the easiest way to administer.

Homeopathic remedies can be either given straight into the horse's mouth or put into the feed or water; any of these methods are just as effective. If you are putting into the mouth, please make sure not to contaminate the dropper; putting on to a teaspoon or other utensil may be a better option.

Dosage: 4 drops into mouth or food 3 times a day for 5 days.

Based on the above administration being 1 course, the remedy will last approximately 12 courses.

Dogs ears are often getting things flung in them, but is the itching something more than just a bit of dirt?

Many pets can develop sore ears or ear mites, which may be from an incorrect diet, allergies, foreign objects in the ear, an inherited weakness, or the shape of the ear canal. Ear mites are often identified as a discharge that looks like ground-up coffee. Pets can be miserable with the pain and inflammation associated with this problem, have itching that damages the ears, and second bacterial infections can set in.

Ears is a natural remedy for ear mites and ear inflammation.
