Busy week ahead with first rides done on Bucky, Onyx and Aladdin. Freyja finally settling down to her job and little wee Maple happy with her last week of hacking hills before going back to the slightly warmer climate of Karaka.
Babies weaned, handled, trimmed and rugged (all slightly too big) and off to a paddock with their rising 2 year old nanny 🥰

His first dressage tests with Erica Alderton were fantastic to watch. They came away with reserve champion in their level.
This time last year he was learning to jump with the amazing Tara Gower.
Such a well rounded kind horse. He will soon be for sale …… watch this space!

Jax starts every day with a bit of bag and stick and a tractor driving past. He doesn’t love it at all but he’s getting better at dealing with it.
Popcorn is a hacking machine. Never mind the weather he likes a job! Fantastic attitude on this little man.
We got caught in a massive hail storm Friday.…it looked like it snowed 🤦‍♀️. Reckless Saint was the only one with any brains and hid under the tree with us. I like him he’s a smart little man.

The little painted peanut has had his round yard rides and heads to the arena today.

And Jax is here for a wee bit of desensitising and fun riding. (He’s not convinced there is a fun part yet)

Our favourite little pink punk is back for a quick burn round with Matt, Bandit the blue eyed beauty joins us for some hill work, Oakie is almost done, Foalie the c**t is getting rather fit 😬 and Gatita is happy being retired ❤️ The old grey mare is the first foal I ever bred.
