We will be inside the store in a fenced off area near the kds DIY area.

Just a reminder for this weekend! Come along to Bunnings Mt Wellington on Saturday, 10-2 for our mini Hug a Pug Auckland event. All pugs welcome!!

Hello everyone: To any one coming to Bunnings MT Wellington on Saturday. They are hoping to “kick off” the mini Hug a Pug at 10am. So if we could have you there by 0950. They have set us up in the Lifestyle section (outdoor furniture). If you want to attend and bring your pug but have kids sport, we are there until 2pm or when we tire out our puggies. So would be great to see you and give other pugs a rest from being so cute – it is very taxing being cute and receiving cuddles.

As per Bunnings policy all dogs are to be on a lead, and are the responsibility of the owners. As this is ultimately a Bunnings event, we ask that everyone attending abides by the rules and complies with any requests made by Bunnings staff on the day. If you are concerned or need assistance a Hug a Puger crew member will be in Hug a Pug Hi Vis on the day.
If you wish to allow patrons to pick up your pug – this is at your risk.
We will have spray, buckets and required items to spot clean for any ooopies that occur.

Hey Auckland pug parents!
We’re still in the planning process for the next big Hug A Pug Auckland event but in the meantime we’ve been asked if we can arrange a smaller group at a Fathers Day event at Bunnings Mt Wellington on Sat 27th August from 10-2.
We’re hoping to run this as a mini Hug A Pug event (following Bunnings rules) with some charity fundraising as always.
We’re trying to keep a track of numbers so anyone who thinks they might be available to come along with their puggies, please send us a message so we can fill you in on the specific details for the day.

It’s been a hard year for everyone since the last Hug A Pug and it looks like it’s not all over just yet!
But, we’re still here and we have plans afoot and will be back with the next Hug A Pug Auckland event just as soon as we can!
