Ced's pack were at the farm today, the last bit of water in the trough is now just mud! The sun came out and everyone got real slow, so off to the river we went to play for ages.

Soos had his ears on today :) Aspen kind of did... Rori was in a very attentive mood too ☺️

Sadie and Buddy loved swimming and fetching, Sadie is the queen of water fetch.

Max was pretty quiet today, but he was happy :)

Stus Friday pack hid in the shade at Tauhara park
This weather has reduced the stream to mud. Lucky Albi and Brenna can sniff water out even if they were in a desert!
Boomer and Princess found a schnauzer friend to play with.
Yumi is super fast! She wins fetch Everytime

Rochelle's pack. I was just about to unclip the last dog when a whole load of small stones starting hitting the van 🤔, it was Chewy doing his housework 😅. Clifford and Marley wanted to join Stu's pack and found them twice. Archie and Chewy had some lead time as their ears fell off, Teddy was keen to play, Lenny liked meeting Stu's pack, Nala loved saying hi to Stu, Nancy and Monty had a play. Millie has decided to make herself the playground monitor, anytime a dog has ventured off to far or for too long she meets them and lets them know that she thinks they've done something wrong 😂.

Moose and Rocko played again. They’re starting to become good friends
Aggy tried very hard to get Bella to play but it was a no go. Later on Bella wouldn’t leave the big puddle! I called and called eventually having to go get her.
Atlas and Abby had a very short game of tugowar. But they both remembered “we aren’t stick dogs” and let it go

Rochelle's pack was full of energy. Layla and Luna lay in the mud puddle and dived under, Laika zoomed and rolled her way along, Maisy joined Nancy and Meg in some chase games. Harvey managed to stay quite clean, Sid had a big zoomie, Brenna threw cones around, Duffy enjoyed cooling off in the pond, Albi got the zoomies and Aspen raced around.

We needed some chill time. Bailey and Monty didn’t get the memo and ran down the hill. But Bowie is always happy just to hang out with me and Sadie. Don’t get to low to the ground though. Neo will lick you!
Hugo’s done great fitting in. Everyone’s happy to have new energy to wrestle with

Rochelle's pack went to cool off in the stream and then a pond. Millie was disappointed that there was no muddy water in what used to be a big puddle, so she dug in the mud trying to find the water, Dodge and Monty joined her. Buddy found some grass seeds to stick in his long fur, Donna and Nala loved splashing in the muddy stream. Lenny likes to explore ahead and has been really good at checking in, Max and Bandit explored, Archie found something smelly to roll in, Chewy and Nancy had a play.

Stus pack went bush! Up hill down hills. Over branch’s and through cobwebs… that last one may have just been me.
These guys loved it! Lots of branches, pinecones and maybe a rouge possum to chase up a tree.

The little one Tama and Rosie kept up great! Meave Leading the way with Atlas and Moose right behind
Rocko and Mac chasing each other around grasses while Chopper checked out Rochelle’s van.
Bodhi and Mocha playing at the end of the trip was great to watch.

Everyone was doing pretty good with their listening skills so we went for a play at the river ☺️ Rocky was happy as the little bit of trough water that was left didn't agree with him 🤢

Stus pack were back at Tauhara looking for some friends. The Park was busy so we found some 🙂
Bella and Sadie wanted to sit in the creek for the morning. They got some pretty surprising zoomies when they finally got out.
Boomer and Princess wanted to hang out with their Labrador friend. He’s a local so they’ve sniffed before
Mocka keeps getting Bolt into mischief. She looks down the hill as if she going down so he goes down. Then she turns around and he gets in trouble. But comes back very quick when called

Teddy who Boomer and Princess loved!! And Murphy who fit in with this lot perfectly. He even chases after Albi.
Albi found 4 softballs today. The season must have started up!

Rochelle's pack started attacking a tall punga next to the track, after much shaking I spotted a possum moving across the top. Eventually they all gave up and moved along. Lenny did really well to ignore the distraction, Chewy and Nancy needed more persuading to continue but they made the right decision. Monty and Nala loved the pond and the stream, Millie was fascinated by the fantail following us through the bush, Clifford and Marley were excited to be back exploring the forest and raced around.

Moose and Atlas found something in the forest. They had to go check it out, Nela had to kept a close eye on them.
Rocko and Stumpy zoomies with Rosie close behind! But Miles doesn’t like it when Maggie starts chasing so he ends the fun
Jerry likes to just plod along. Every now and then jumping on Chopper when he’s least expecting it
Bella and Mocha tolerate Aggys crazy. But sometimes she gets a bit too much for Bella.

Rochelle's pack headed up the ridge. Duffy really enjoys Wednesday pick up as Harvey and Rocky treat her like a princess when she gets in the van, with lots of attention and licking. Layla played with Maisy and Aspen, Albi found a ball to carry, Sid and Luna had a play and then both got the zoomies and chased each other when it was time to go. Laika was on a mission to find lots of places to roll, Nancy and Meg raced around, Brenna tried to carry a pinecone and a stick together.

Sadie is always mischief getting in the van but this morning she was extra.
Frankie’s bigger little brother Hugo came along today. He’s pretty cuddly!
Leo and Maple were very close to laying down in the mud puddle but managed to convince them to not do that
Neo and Monty zoomies through the trees. But Neo spent a little time on lead so he doesn’t over do it.
Boomer and Princess hung out and annoyed Bowie.

Rochelle's pack had a big game of chase as soon as they were out of the van. Millie, Monty, Archie, Nancy Max and Dodge played for most of the walk, Bandit, Nala, Chewy and Lenny joined in sometimes, Donna was happy watching them.

We are Hamilton’s newest dog care service, pooches are our passion and we are very excited to bring you Doggy Day Trips!

While you're at work or away from home (or even while you are home) your pooch can get bored and restless. Sending them on regular Doggy Day Trips is a great alternative that stimulates the mind, stretches the legs, and can improve overall behaviour. Then, when you get home at night, you and your pooch can relax together!

A walk for a dog is a special adventure, it's their wild nature to roam and explore as a pack. Our trips satisfy these core instincts, while providing a different, exciting way to exercise and socialise.
