Rochelle's pack did the stream circuit and avoided the mosquitoes. The dogs enjoyed some tasty treats from Sid's mum, Sid wasn't having a bar of them. Aspen, Laika, Nancy and Albi got the zoomies, Millie, Maisy and Meg chased them. Brenna entertained herself with pinecones, Duffy followed her and found some energy to run. Sadie was so busy sniffing and running that I didn't manage to get a good picture of her, she is in a couple of the videos in the comments. Bandit chewed pinecones.
Some of the dogs managed to get a few grass seeds stuck to their fur but not Laika she had enough on her face for a new look 😅.

Rochelle's pack was very excited to be heading to the forest again. Despite the excitement there was some calm times. Bodhi was in demand by Monty, Bandit, Max and Dodge as a playmate. Chewy and Nancy had a play, Archie and Millie zoomed around, Donna was too busy sniffing to make a lot of noise 😊. Dodge disturbed a couple of birds hiding in the long grass and gave himself a fright. Ruby was ready for lots of reststops on the way up the hill, Buddy got the zoomies and started a big game of chase.

It was a very fun Friday at the farm to finish of the fantastic year 😄

The long grass was like a jungle for Max and little Sadie 😄

Albi decided to bring a toy from the van.
Brenna wanted it all day, even when I hid it in my pocket. I had to give it to her a couple of times but everyone would steal it off her and she just watches sadly 😅 no one stole it from Ronnie, his deep rottie growl is too scary 😆 Albi was game enough to try some tug o war in the end.

Rori was more invested in looking for rodents today than playing with dogs, it's usually a 50/50 split 😄

Rochelle's pack was very excited at pick up time, though no one matches Marley for enthusiasm when getting into the van. We've been working on greeting everyone and then Marley knows she needs to sit and calm down before being clipped in. Clifford found a nice hollow to roll around in. Teddy raced around and then rested, he even managed to stay pretty clean and dry! Archie and Nancy made the most of their last Pooch Pack outing for the year and raced around. Monty and Millie played, Sadie found some great hiding places, Chewy, Nala and Louie explored around the ridge track.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas 🎄and a Happy New Year.

Stu's / Ced's pack started the day with cuddles amd smooches! 😄
We drove deeper in to the forest so we didn't have to walk as far!
Then we meandered down to the ponds where Ruby accidently found the mudslide, ended up sliding upside down face first into the pond 🤣

Mocha, Rosie and Moose shared a pinecone nicely :) Stumpy was allowed it only after they were done 😆

We were gonna just cruise back but Soos saw a forestry ute, maybe it's Stu!!!! Off he went to say hello... so we had to hike back up the hill to find him just chilling in the shade waiting for us 🥵
So I thought, let's drive down to the pond again... everyone's too tired to walk.. the van isn't as agile as the utes and it got stuck on a log 😆🤦‍♂️

Cruisy last day of the year for Stu's Wednesday dogs. Ced was on pick ups, I did them in reverse order and confused everybody with timing 😄

Stu's pack had to put up with Ced today, I took them off road to the creek, that wasn't very clean so we went further to find the fresh pond! Then we looped all the way back around the long way 🥵 but there were some fresh puddles from the all the rain yesterday to rehydrate 😁

I said "ok let's stay nice and clean for the drive home" and Nina was literally rolling in a dead hedgehog when I finished this sentence 🤣

Rochelle's pack loved how cool it was when we got to the forest. The dogs were very excited at pick ups this morning, once we were on our way they settled down. Chewy started going backwards and surprised himself when he couldn't go any further because there was a tree in the way. Dodge, Monty and Max enjoyed playing, Millie, Nancy, Archie and Nala joined in sometimes. Bandit chewed pinecones, Frankie, Buddy and Donna found all the puddles.

The pack enjoyed the cool wet weather today. Murphy joined us and was a crowd favourite, zooming around and getting everyone excited!

Bella started feeling more energetic toward the end of the trip and walking on ahead with the pack, but then got taken out but Teddy who wasn't watching where he was going 🫣 now she's on 10 days rest 🥺
Her sister Mocha said, "this is why I told you crazy pups to slow down!" Mocha is a great referee

Sadie has come a long way, I left my lunch unguarded in the van and it was still there when I got back! 😆
I've lost my lunch several times in this job.. Sadie was one of the first culprits 🤣

Sadie R and Aspen were nuts today. Crazy zoomies!
Brenna goes crazy with a stick trashing her head around. Flinging buts everywhere. Albis ok with this because he gets to play fetch and then chew on the smaller bits
Sadie U and Max went on solo missions following their noses

Rochelle's Thursday pack, sorry for the late post. Sadie was snappy at Teddy when he got into the van, Nala was grumpy with Clifford and Marley when she got in, Monty snapped at Archie, Rocko got in and grumped at Marley, Chewy was grumpy with Marley and Bodhi, once out of the van they were all happy again. I was driving towards the forest when I felt something on my neck luckily it was only Bodhi licking me 🤣, it's usually Clifford who catches me out when I'm clipping a dog into the van and licks my face 😅. Louie, Millie and Nancy stayed away from their grumpy van mates.

Jerry and Mocha played heaps today. She puts on a grumpy face but secretly loves it
Rosie found a massive stick. I didn’t notice so she whacked my ankles.
Abby and Moose were out listening for the other pack on the other side of the forest. Chopper kept telling them someone’s out there

Rochelle's pack headed to the stream to cool off. Sid and Aspen had a little play, Maisy and Meg played really well together. Nancy and Millie followed the action. Albi and Aspen destroyed a ball, Harvey was excited when he found his favourite piece of ball to carry, Bandit played with pinecones, Rocky and Sadie went exploring. Rochelle's Tuesday pack had most of the mosquitoes in the forest join them on the ridge track. Chewy decided to sit by the door and face into the van, at every pickup I had to move his tail as it was hanging out the door. Donna claimed most of the shelf space. Dodge and Max played in the van but at the forest Max went exploring and Dodge played with Monty and Millie. Archie, Nancy and Bandit explored together. Buddy found a great scratching plant, and Frankie and Nala stayed close. No photos today instead a few short videos.

Mac runs after Stumpy who’s chasing Meave around the bushes. Mochas keeping a close eye on Moose and Atlas mischief.
I found out today that if you chase Tama he runs around all crazy. Good fun! He’s got little legs and I get tired.
As soon as we get out of the van Nina is in the clam shell pond. I don’t know how she does it!

We are Hamilton’s newest dog care service, pooches are our passion and we are very excited to bring you Doggy Day Trips!

While you're at work or away from home (or even while you are home) your pooch can get bored and restless. Sending them on regular Doggy Day Trips is a great alternative that stimulates the mind, stretches the legs, and can improve overall behaviour. Then, when you get home at night, you and your pooch can relax together!

A walk for a dog is a special adventure, it's their wild nature to roam and explore as a pack. Our trips satisfy these core instincts, while providing a different, exciting way to exercise and socialise.
