Our most wonderful, brilliant and totally aawesome Ch Corcols Billion Dollar Baby aka Alice crossed over the Rainbow bridge on the the 22/6/23. She was treasure from start to the end. And at Corcols we are having to deal with the lost of another beautiful baby within two weeks apart. My gorgeous heart girl Autumn, who for whatever reasons I had to let go on Tuesday 11/7/23.

We are trying to keep it together ‘Bums’ because this time last week you were still our crazy girl and come Saturday morning obviously since I’m still losing my s**t. Got some closure today with the Histology report and it was a Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy that took her, something totally unforeseen at 5ys 8 mths although DM clear via DNA, this is more a Boxer genetic mutation, a precise genetic cause has not yet been established in the Bulldog. However from the SVS lab report although characterised in Boxers, it had also been described in Bulldogs.
The hugest of ❤️ Bumbles, you have left a heartbroken family.
She always put the ‘P into Party’, and we are devastated at our loss of ‘Bum’s’, today. With ‘A’ one health testing behind her, vets doing a autopsy and finding everything healthy, I’m feeling how the f**k does this happen!! Her heart is off to Massey so hopefully some closure there. Our beautiful ‘Bumble’ would of been 6 in May 22’ and we expected so many more years ahead with our precious girl 😭

💖💖Plus as a huge bonus I got to show my daughter’s beautiful Gordon Setter ‘Nala aka Ch Azzaro Little Trooper’ and at Pencarrow Open she was awarded Best of Breed & NZ Bred Of Group and got a very well deserve Reserve of Breed under Setter breed legend Dawn Brockie who certainly had the Gordon’s working for the honours. That was a huge blast and loads of fun!
