Introducing our newest handler - Jack! 🐕🐾🤩

Jack has been with us for the last few months. He has already become a great part of the team and the dogs love his cool, calm collected vibe. The team are especially impressed with his skills of remembering all of the dogs in a very short time. 🥰

What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time? When I'm not at work I'll be either doing Jiu Jitsu, dancing at the arcade, or playing competitive card games.

Who is your most listened to artist on Spotify? Gojira and/or Trivium

Favourite dog breed and why? Hard for me to say, as I like individual dogs based on their personality, but I do love a goofy Lab or a poofy Samoyed

Where were you born? Australia

What was your first job? Working at a small green grocer, selling beautiful fresh fruit and veg

Do you have any hidden talents? I'm pretty good at arcade dance games like Pump it Up and Dance Dance Revolution

Favourite place in New Zealand? Golden Bay/Takaka

What is your biggest accomplishment? Winning a national title in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

What is your favourite part of this job? It's so awesome to work on such a beautiful piece of land, being with the dogs out in nature. And the walk keeps me fit!

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY BREAK!
Our last day will be Friday the 20th of December and we will return on Monday the 13th of January.
Please let me know via text or email if your dog will be away outside of those dates.
We have a few boarding spots available with Will or us, so get in touch if you are needing a place for your dog to stay over that time!
I hope that the holidays don't go as fast as this year has gone!

Our Story

Down with Dogs, provides structured pack walks and basic training for your companion. Walks are an hour and a half, which includes on and off-lead walking. We strive to not only exercise your dog, but to provide socialisation, basic training, and to give your dog guidance using our expertise, to bring out your dogs maximum potential.

Your dog will be picked up from your house, walked at one of the many parks in the Wellington region, and then delivered back home. We service most Western, Eastern and Southern Wellington suburbs.
