Unlocking Equine Potential with Nerve Release and Myofascial Bodywork 🙌
Bodywork is a powerful tool to enhance the health, performance, and well-being of our horses. It can help with relieving tension and optimizing the overall physical health of the horse. For me this is done with the modality of Lazaris Nerve Release
What is Equine Nerve Release?
Nerve release involves targeted techniques aimed at alleviating nerve impingements. In horses, nerve compression can occur due to various reasons, such as poor posture, muscle tightness, or injuries. Symptoms might include unexplained lameness, behavioral changes, or reduced performance.
During a nerve release session, I work to identify the specific areas where nerve compression may be occurring. Using gentle pressure by palpating over the body to feel for tension and restrictions, I help to free the nerves, allowing for better signal transmission and improved muscle function.
What can be achieved with this work? ✨
• Pain Relief: Alleviates discomfort caused by nerve compression and fascial tension.
• Improved Mobility: Enhances range of motion and flexibility, allowing for more fluid movement.
• Better Performance: Optimizes muscle function and coordination, contributing to better athletic performance.
• Increased Comfort: Promotes overall well-being, reducing stress and improving the horse’s quality of life.
