Headway Equestrian To provide a safe a encouraging environment where children can improve their overall health and well

Our objectives are to focus on the benefits of Therapeutic Riding. I began Headway Equestrian, to provide a place for children with mild disabilities to come and enjoy contact with horses and use riding as a way of improving their mental and/or physical wellbeing. The enjoyment that they get through play on horseback would have a positive effect on their self-confidence and their everyday life.

Had a day off today yay..you might wonder what I get up to on my days away from my horses....well I get to go an support the young riders that I have taught here. Such a pleasure today to watch Eva on her new pony compete. So proud of her riding coming home with rider ribbons in the flat and jumping as well as many more. Gregory will be proud.
Thank you to the amazing supportive judge who made the day a successful event.

Wow doesn't it get dark early! We will be holding fortnightly horse management sessions on a Wednesday night, possibly Thursday.

This is open to all riders from pc and those not attending pony club.

This will be covering up to C Certification level at Pony Club. Located on site at Headway. Please get in touch if your interested in getting your cards filled out and get a jump start to next season.

Day 1 done and dusted. Horses were unsettled at first and we stood in the paddock holding them. They soon got used to the sound. The rest of the week they will be cutting down the trees down the driveway. It looks amazing and so different. Some of the big trees needed help from the digger. It's awesome to watch. This tree was on a real lean towards our place.
