Each spring several thousand new born lambs are orphaned, many of these are adopted by young children - who raise them as their own specia

l pet! In Spring 1990, a lucky lamb called Nibbles, was adopted and raised by Natalie Roberts, the elder daughter of La-Nate founders, Wanda and Gary Roberts. The sheer delight Natalie had from Nibbles inspired the creation of our La-Nate collection of cuddly rocking animals. We decided to add pet beds to the product range after we saw how much our pets loved and benefited from sleeping in their specially designed handcrafted beds. At La-Nate, we love working with timber and natural products to hand craft toys and bedding which looks beautiful and feels soft and cuddly. We use only the best quality materials in production, including locally sourced products, highest quality sheepskin and wood. Our aim is to be true to the environment - all our animals and products are exclusively made at our idyllic Tauranga base overlooking the wonderful seascape of the Bay of Plenty. The team promo shoot for entering the upcoming 2022 Iditarod. Sadly we won’t make due to border restrictions and the fact we have our summer coats on but we wish the entrants all the best for this years epic race!

Finally got the pack to stand still for a photo.. All our pups are looking for homes, got a favourite pooch? We can do customs too. Either free standing or on rockers they make a great addition to the house , a heirloom gift and the grandkids just love them.
