Breed: Vizsla - not papered.

Temperament:
Pros: Crate trained, leash trained, potty trained, great home etiquette, great recall, clean, responsive, food driven, play driven, great at reading social cues from dogs and people, social and biddable with primary caretakers, easy on walks and hikes, adventurous, curious, easy-going, low energy, great with neutral dogs who can provide and receive clear social cues, quick recovery from stress, follows you around the house like a shadow (could likely be a con for some individuals, as well).
Jagger will 99% of the time instantly make friends with every stranger, visitor, neighbor but sometimes can be hesitant. However, consistent exposure to neutral, positive and valuable experiences with the same people will create a strong, trusting bond.

Cons: Jagger a firm owner as he will take advantage and push boundaries if he can get away with it. Will need someone who will be consistent with the routine/lifestyle he has already. Uncomfortable around busy, loud people and children who do not give space to the dog. Easily startled by loud noises.

Ideal home: committed, patient, active single person or small family, children 14 years and older, rural and suburban living would work ideal for this dog.

Reason for rehoming: Previous owners divorced/moved house, and could no longer provide for him.

Bentley adjusted into pack life so quickly when he joined us nearly a year ago. His recall is 100% now and is living his best life. You think living with a pack walker he would be a lot calmer with the routine by now… WRONG 🚩 he is absolutely wild for the van and crazy when we arrive at the forest every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 time 👏🏻
