Good morning! This is just a quick post to say that due to higher than usual boarding numbers we are having to restrict our daycare from tomorrow and Friday. If your dog doesn't need to come to daycare tomorrow and friday, please keep them home. If I have spoken with you in the last few days it is still fine for your dogs to come. Hi all. Colyton Road is currently closed due to a car accident up further. If it is still closed when you come to pick up your pets you can explain to them that you have a pet to pick up. The police said if you pull over safely to discuss with them out of traffic lanes that is best. Tell them it is number 32.

Good morning! We are still busy with our renovations in the kennels and this will be continuing next week through to Fri at this stage. We are hoping to be able to be open one of the weeks in the school holidays to make up for it. If you need you big dog in for daycare please let us know asap and we will do our best to accommodate. All current bookings, usual small dog daycare, boarding and grooming can all still come in. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

Good evening! Plans with the kennels maintenance are going ahead tomorrow. We have very limited spaces while the work is getting done, so we have had to close our daycare for large dogs for the time being. Small dogs are still fine to come. If you have spoken to us about your dogs coming for daycare, since our last post, your dogs are fine to come in still. I will pop another post up near the end of the week with an update. Our current boarding bookings are still all good as well. Hopefully things will run smoothly and we can be back to normal asap. Thank you for your understanding. Have a lovely evening.

Good evening. Hope you are all having a relaxing night. We are having some much needed maintenance on the kennels done from the 29th Aug. This may mean we need to limit our dog numbers over this time and probably have to close daycare for a short time. We will let everyone know if this is the case later in the week. Sorry for any inconvenience. If your dogs have to be at daycare over this time please let us know so we can do our best to help. Thank you for understanding.

Good Afternoon! Our dog boarding numbers are really high over the school holidays. If you don't need your dog in daycare over this time please keep them at home. It is starting a day earlier than we thought so if you need your dog to come from tomorrow through to the 18th please let us know as we have very few spaces avaliable. Thank you.

URGENTLY NEEDED - TOWELS & BLANKETS

It's raining cats and dogs, inside and outside the shelters! With the recent rain and cold weather we are in urgent need of towels & blankets. Drop offs to the shelter would be greatly appreciated to help keep our pets dry, clean and warm!

Good Morning! Just thought we would let everyone know Kennel Cough is doing the rounds again, even in the vaccinated dogs. If your dogs are showing signs such as Gagging, Sneezing, Coughing or if their breathing is a bit noisy please consult with your vet and keep them away from others dogs until at least 7 days after symptoms have stopped. We have had some cases at Pet Stay as well as it being around the Manawatu so is likely at dogs parks, daycare and other places lots of dogs visit. Please take care.

Good evening! We are hoping someone might have spotted our lovely cat Tux. She lives here at Pet Stay with her sister Edo. Tux and Edo look very similar but Tux has a collar and loves people. Tux didn't show up for her bedtime last night and we haven't seen her at all today. This is very unusual for Tux as she is a very cuddly cat and loves attention. We are all very worried about her and hope everyone can keep a look out when they come here or let us know if you spot her. 🤞🏻we see her soon. Hi everyone. Traffic light update!!

We will be operating much the same during RED traffic light.

- We ask everyone to wear a mask.

- Everyone must sign in using covid tracer app

- Everyone coming through the gate must have their Covid vaccine pass on them and ready, If you don't have a vaccine pass you must not come through the gate. Please arrange contactless.

- We can have pets dropped off and picked up contactless if needed (if no vaccine pass or you prefer this option)

-One customer per pet to come into reception and unfortunately we are not able to take people through the kennels or cattery.
