Had a lovely time with our eldest grandson Mason at the weekend. On Saturday painted some more fencing and ourselves as well. Sunday he went for a short horse ride down the lane ways on Tennessee
who is now 29 and then took the dogs on a walk around the Tana Umaga trail in town before heading home
Update on Takoda.. Have had the wee boy home for a couple of weeks now. He is progressing along nicely. His latest poo sample has come back negative for Salmonella but his blood work results still shows he has a major infection going on. We have changed the antibiotics to hopefully get it under control so is now having to have 20 tablets 2 times a day crushed with small amount of water. Although he still has a way to go he is such a stoic foal and accepts all his treatments without a fuss. As he had to be restricted to a small area while he recuperated after being sent home from Massey he has now reached a stage where he can stretch his legs. As the following video show he does so with great enthusiasm
Last foal of the season. A stunning Arab filly out of Savionne ERA and Paragon A'Idah. So thoughtful of mum to wait until the bad weather to pass.
