We are taking enrolments now for our popular Playful Puppy class!
This class is for puppies aged 4 to 6 months and teach foundation behaviours for a confident well-mannered puppy.
Class start dates:
Silverdale - Tuesday 3 September
Wairau - Wednesday 4 September

Today we put the spotlight on our beautiful Collies!
Some of the most commonly known collie breeds are the Rough Coat Collie, Border Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, Smooth Coat Collie and Bearded Collie.
Mostly known for their herding abilities!

This is a great day to show some respect for the lead! Take your dog for a walk to brush up on your loose lead walking skills. This is a great tool to build the connection between you and your dog and enables you to go more places and enjoy more time together! It's also a great time to respect others that are walking on lead by allowing them the freedom to enjoy their walk without having off-lead dogs rushing up to them - even if it's just for one day!

Everybody STARTS somewhere and this little clip shows "Kash & Toni" attempting their first sequence together as a team. Jumps are super low on purpose as Kash is still learning. It's a reminder that we play games with our dogs for FUN! You can see that this lovely handler and dog team are doing just that :)

Hi I’m Caz and I’ve been working with dogs for more than 15 years. I’m a Certified Pro Dog Trainer, Certified Trick Dog Trainer, have a PetTech Certificate in Dog First Aid, and a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers of New Zealand.

Like most people I grew up with dogs! My first public experience demonstrating obedience handling was at the young age of 5. With my Grandfather’s German Shepherd dog Zorro, we put on a heel work display at a regional gymkhana in Australia – let’s just say I’ve learnt a lot since then! Since that time dog training has always been in my life and heart.

“I love having happy dogs and really enjoy developing a special bond with my dogs – it’s all about the journey, and having fun! My goal is to help other owners build a strong and lasting relationship with their dogs through fun positive training techniques.”

Not only can we support you in your dog training journey and help you to develop a great relationship with your own dog but we can introduce you to a world of fun training games and dog tricks that will allow you to develop the skills and behaviours you desire in a fun and reliable way.
