Most of you know by now that I’m a little bit obsessed with using poles in my training💈🏇🏻💈
There are so many reasons to include pole work in our regular training programs, from performance enhancing benefits such as improved rhythm, agility, strength, balance and proprioception, to injury rehab, or just adding some fun and enjoyment to your riding while trying something different.
I’ve been planning some small groups lesson ideas for a while and I have now confirmed details to share 🥳
These pole work lessons will be held on Arcus rd, Te Horo
Dates will be:
🏇🏻Thursday 16th June
🏇🏻Saturday 18th June
🏇🏻Thursday 7th July
🏇🏻Saturday 9th July
🏇🏻Thursday 21 July
🏇🏻Saturday 23rd July
(Additional weekday or future dates can be considered if there’s enough interest)
$50pp (includes arena fee)
💛Each session will be 45 mins and include some guidance on how to use the pole pattern, helpful tips as you ride, and some feedback for how you could use poles in your regular training program at home to improve your horse’s wellbeing and/or performance.
💚Each lesson will have a max of 3 riders to ensure every combination has time and space to benefit from these sessions, so lesson spaces will be strictly limited.
💛 You can come to one or all three sessions as each date will have different pattern/s and a different focus
💚The sessions will be suitable for all age, size and ability combinations.. it doesn’t matter whether you’re a jumper, dressage rider or happy hacker, these sessions can be adapted to suit and polework has many benefits for every horse and rider combo 🏇🏻💞
