As the year draws to a close, we would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to our valued supporters. Whether you adopted a dog from us this year (we encourage you to share photos), made a donation, shared or liked our posts, fostered, conducted property checks, served as a committee member, or undertook any of the numerous behind-the-scenes tasks that enable the Humane Society to operate, we thank you. Our sincere thanks to the lovely ladies at Louis and Phoebe pet boutique, their generous customers and pets. Your support throughout the past year is very much appreciated.

A very big Thank You to the AUCKLAND MUSTANG OWNERS CLUB for their lovely donation of dog food.

It is much appreciated and the dogs will have a lovely Xmas lunch.

🆘 ‼️ STILL MISSING ‼️🆘 PLEASE SHARE ‼️🆘

CAROL is a 5 yr old Lab x She went missing on 08/11/24 after being scared by fireworks.
She went missing from Crampton Pl, Aarts Ave Rowandale Ave area (Manurewa, Auckland) but could be anywhere if she has been picked up.

There have been no sightings of her so anything that you know/saw that may help us find her would be appreciated.

We have done flyers, posters, etc. She still had stitches in from spay surgery. She is microchipped and registered to Humane Society.

Please help us bring Carol home 🙏

CASEY, CRAIG and CHUCKIE are 6-month-old LAB x brothers. They are sweet pups, although are a little shy when they first meet you. They get on well with the other dogs at our foster home. They enjoy walks and are learning to walk on lead. They would suit a home with children over 8 years old.

They will come vet-checked, neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered, so we ask a minimum DONATION of $200 towards these costs.

Their new owner(s) must have a securely fenced property, which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to them being released to their new home(s).

You will also need to meet them at our foster home in South Auckland as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective owners.

Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.

BUFFY has officially been in foster for a year now. Check out her cute tricks in her video.

She is a staffy x, approximately 4 years old and around 15 kg.

She has terrier tendencies and loves being amongst the action but is also happy to chill and snuggle provided she gets exercised.

She loves training and is a thoughtful calm learner. Her favourite activities include swimming, sunbathing and playing with her foster sister. She excels at awkward sleeping positions (we will post a compilation of those in the coming weeks).

She requires a consistent routine in a calm household with someone home part of the day, or another dog who would need to be temperamentally stable and enjoy physical play.

She could live with dog savvy kids aged 13+ in a home with 1.8 metre fencing with no gaps. No cats or other small animals.

Adopted. We may have a home for Zach.

This is Zach, a 4 yr old British Bulldog looking for his forever home.

Zach loves people and other dogs. He loves riding in the car and sleeping on the bed. He enjoys a walk. Zach is a strong boy so children over 10 yrs. We have had Zach's nose and soft palate done. We ask for a $200 donation to cover some of these costs and allow us to help the next dogs.

Zach is not for a first time dog owner and we would prefer someone with Bully experience. A property check will be carried out by one of our volunteers.
