HQ: The Heart Of The Dog Squad

You may have heard our team and Squad mention "HQ" or "Headquarters." This is where a lot of the magic (read: All Things Dog) happens! The Dog Squad is proudly based in Whenuapai, Auckland, with over 8 acres of fully fenced farmland paddock and a hothouse for those chilly, wintery days—tucked safely behind a secure, gated entry.

Our HQ is an essential part of what we do. This dedicated space allows for safe, off-lead fun, secure handling, and top-notch training resources. Our hand-reared livestock, raised from birth around dogs, is invaluable in helping desensitize and socialize new Squad members to animals like chickens, goats, and horses—perfect for preparing them for encounters in public spaces. 😊

New Squad members often begin their journey at HQ, where they can ease into the pack dynamic, make new friends, and, most importantly, develop a strong bond with their Handler. With fewer public distractions, our Handlers can focus on working one-on-one with each dog, ensuring a safe, enriching environment for growth and learning. 🐾
