🐾 Exciting News for The Squad & Our Community! 🐾
We’re thrilled to share that Cassie Jefferies, founder of The Dog Squad NZ and Travelling Trainers NZ, has been elected to the Professional Dog Walkers Association (PDWA) council here in New Zealand. 🎉
The PDWA was established to uphold high industry standards for professional dog walkers, ensuring the safety, welfare, and enrichment of dogs in our care. It advocates for responsible practices, professionalism, and education while fighting for the rights of both professional walkers and dog owners across the country.
Right now, New Zealand is considering new restrictions that may impact not only professional walkers but also multi-dog households. The PDWA works tirelessly to protect dog-owner rights, promote responsible ownership, and ensure that decisions benefit dogs, their people, and the wider community.
For us at The Dog Squad and Travelling Trainers, this means continuing to provide the highest quality of care, safety, and structure on every walk while staying informed and involved in key developments that affect our clients and their beloved dogs. 🐕
