Scott from Motueka sent us these photos after letting Zeus out for the first time with his new Petrek GPS-4 unit.

Scott say's the reception was showing as really good on the app, and we can certainly see why!

Remember if your Petrek is updating with really good GPS signal but you can't seem to see where your fluff member is left, right and centre, look up!

As evident in this post, we have always found cats in rural areas to roam a lot further than their urban counterparts. This is usually down to the enviornmental surroundings, less traffic, less walls and usually less territorial issues with neighbouring cats.

Due to new security updates yesterday from our Amazon cloud and Google map services it has unfortunately bricked some of the Petrek devices.

Thus, some of you may be experiencing this today but fear not as we have been onto it since the early hours of this morning and endeavour to have the issues resolved later today or night.

Our apologies for any inconveniences caused during this down time and yes, don't let your cats and dogs out!
