Watch out for Allets half sister at the sales on Wednesday 21st
LOT 296

Allets makes her first appearance. Our Captain Crunch / Sue Dreamer 2 year old filly had her debut outing at Rangiora Qualifying Trials on Wednesday. Very happy with her performance, qualified and had some in the tank - so looking forward to seeing her at the races.

What a great broodmare Sue Dreamer has been - every foal has been a winner either in their first or second start - Allets will be no exception I'm sure.

Our Betters Wish filly is the last one from the mare

So, we sold this c**t to Tony Herlihy at the 2022 sales - racing name Saifa.

He has had two starts - first up a great effort to finish third in what was a tough race (https://youtu.be/kTUv80q8oWE)

Second start on the 2nd January 2024 for a win. (https://youtu.be/M4Ek87qw74g)

Looking forward to his next outing.

Lovetodream has a weanling Always B Miki c**t at foot and in foal to Always B Miki.

These are the two filles that went through the sale ring in 2023.

Winelight (Sugar Loaf / Downbytheseaside) and Allets (Sue Dreamer / Captain Crunch).

Just arrived at the beach after a wonderful prep by Hayden Cullen. Looking forward now to a great 2 year old racing season.

It's that time again when we all get excited about our yearlings and the prospect of a great sale.

This year we have a great looking c**t out of Lovetodream. The first opportunity for buyers to get their hands on a foal out of this mare. We have high hopes for him to follow in the footsteps of the family bloodlines.

Please do have a look at the catalogue he is Lot No 340 on day 2 at Christchurch.

COVID is going to prove to be difficult yet again, but I'm sure you will be very pleased with how he looks in the photo's.

Don't hesitate to contact Katie Cox for a viewing.

This is the link to our website Lynnex Holdings where you will see some other photo's of our "Stanley" growing up.

It's been awhile, so time to tell you that our Lovetodream / Art Major c**t has been inspected by NZB and is in the catalogue for 2022.

He's certainly worth a look, growing into a nice type, with the pedigree to back him.

Keep an eye out for him when doing your homework on next years wish list.

The love of horses started a long time ago. Shirley’s father, Delvan Rickerby was a public trainer and raced and owned his own stock at that time. Shirley had her first drive in the cart as a 9 year old and was fast working at the age of 11 years. Her first race drive was as a 15 year old in a “ladies” only race. In those days women weren’t given licences to drive. Thank goodness we have moved on from there. Shirley in fact had her licence granted at the age of 17 years, at that time Linda Jones was making a name for herself in the world of thoroughbred industry.

Move forward, Martin and Shirley have been active in the harness world since 1979, owning shares in horses with friends at that time. Delvan set up a racing syndicate for family and friends and we were part of that syndicate who raced Adios Trick - a wonderful race mare who did us proud.

After the death of Delvan, Elaine took over the racing interests of Adios Trick and Martin and Shirley purchased a full sister in Senator Sue. Breeding from her and racing a gelding called Silver Senator in partnership with Rose Dunn and Robert Dunn trained him .

We now have four broodmares, the last foal from Adios Trick - Sue Dreamer, Lovetodream (daughter of Sue Dreamer) , Holmes Adios and Ultimate Cullen.
