What do you think? MJ has quite the mane 🤩 However most riding horses are expected to have trimmed manes... Should we trim hers? Or leave her natural?

Edit: In addition it will be opportunity for those that want to have a 30min coaching session with our instructor that will be judging. Limited spaces for that, FIFS 💪

To hopefully get to celebrate the end of the rain/floods we are whipping up a training day last minute! If we don't get to much rain
Clear round SJ (very low level) & Dressage test practise on Monday 6th Feb

Clear Round Showjumping Waitangi Day Monfay 6th Feb.
Start 10am at trot poles, then 30cm, 40cm, 50cm crossbars (height measured at the stands). Might go higher if anyone wants.
Prize for clear round.
You can even lead your horse around (looking at you mini enthusiasts out there 👀).

Dressage (will be after jumping at this stage participants will be advised estimated start time day prior estimating noon start)- walk only and walk-trot tests (will consider adding one with canter if requested). Allowed to have a leader, and some one calling the test. Get feedback from one of our instructors. Information about the tests on offer will follow, we can't use the official ones yet sorry. Looking like it's going to be tests from another country for this one 👀
IDEA: Ride the same tests a second time and try to add the feedback given.

Lead reiner's, nervous nellies, and greenies welcome! You can even lead your horse around (looking at you mini enthusiasts out there 👀).
This is just a very casual "event" in a riding paddock, so casual attire.

$5/round and $10 ground fee.

Lessons slots available on Fridays at the farm in Hunua

We have a new instructor whom will be available on Fridays (from about midday) for individual lessons. Get in touch asap to book in a regular or casual slot. (Casual slots will be available until her schedule is booked out)

P.S. Do let us know if you are interested in lessons on another week day and we might add that to the plans.
