😻 Kitty update 😻

They're all settled in and Yuriko is being an absolutely champ of a surrogate.
Her milk has come back in force as she only had one kitten who is 5 weeks old and now being looked after by her niece Emi, who has 3 week old kittens herself.

These kitties are thriving!! Moving around heaps and getting used to humans 🥹

If I'm looking after your animals at the moment, you would have heard from me already but all your homes and pets are fine this morning.
If you need to extend your time away to get home safely please let me know. I can carry on visiting 🐈 🐕 🐎 🐑 🐄

If you're due to head away this weekend and want delay ⏳️ or cancel, don't be afraid to message and let me know!

A majority of the water has subsided and roads from Totara to Pukeuri and out to Weston are clear, however it is SUUUPPER foggy 🌫 so drive safe. Look after yourselves and your neighbours.

My 6am dog walks felt a bit like this today!

We are off on a family holiday tomorrow for a whole week! During this time, kritter sitter will be unavailable. I thank every single one of you who have used, and referred people to, the kritter service over the last TWO years!
This is our first proper holiday we've had in this time and we're looking forward to it 😀

See you back on 24th July! 🐾 ❤️ 🌟

Their (human) mum is unfortunately moving and can't take them with her 😭 she is one of my very regular clients, so I can vouch these guys are the most well looked after pet pigs!

Our veterinarians don't need to be called in, on Xmas day! Keep your babies safe from these.
Food scraps and chocolate aren't for doggos.
Tinsel and Xmas baubles aren't for kitties.

Don't be tempted to sneak your dog a bite of your lunch tomorrow - even if they give you their best puppy dog eyes! Remember, these festive foods are for dogs:

🍫 chocolate
☕ caffeine
🍇 raisins or grapes
🧅 onions or garlic
🥜 nuts, especially macadamias, mouldy walnuts, almonds and pistachios
🌽 corn cobs (the cobs can cause gastrointestinal obstructions)
🍖 cooked bones: these can splinter when chewed, causing irritation to the gastrointestinal tract
🍬 sugar-free sweets containing xylitol or birch sugar
