I try to not get angry on social media but I'm getting more angry as the season keeps going
Every single mum and baby's that we have taken in was DUMPED at a vet clinic OR ABANDONED in a PARK!! 😡😡
ALL THESE MUMS ARE FRIENDLY CATS, all of them so what the hell are these people doing to dump their pet and her kids????
What is wrong with people??
YOU ou should be ashamed of yourself to do this to an innocent CAT!
It's YOUR fault she had babies because you didn't desex HER!
Take some responsibility of owning a pet get them be desexed, give them good, water and of course shelter!

Take care of them don't dump or abandon them EVER!
DESEX your bloody cats and dogs or DON'T get one if you can afford to give it the life it deserves

Please DONATE so we can afford to feed, flea, worm, warm clean beds, and adopt.
To feed and care for mum and babies is very heartbreaking as desexing etc mum would be only $200
Now we will have costs of $1450 roughly due to their abandonment and neglect!!!! 😡

Feeding all up to 8 weeks $500, vax 6 $420, desexing $520 and Microchipping so overall costs for a rescue (not funded by government but lucky we do get desex funding)
approx TOTAL $1450😡!!

Please help us to care for them

good news for tenants! new pet rule

🐾 Good news for renters and landlords!

From 1 December 2025, new tenancy rules will make it easier for tenants to keep pets — while also giving landlords greater peace of mind.

What’s changing?
✅ Tenants will still need landlord consent to keep a pet, but consent can only be declined on reasonable grounds
✅ Landlords can request a pet bond of up to two weeks’ rent, in addition to the standard tenancy bond
✅ Tenants will be responsible for any pet-related damage beyond fair wear and tear
✅ Tenancy Services will manage pet bond lodgements, top-ups and refunds, with updated guidance and forms available before the changes begin

Supporting people to find pet-friendly rental homes is part of the Government’s plan to create a fair, balanced, and well-functioning rental market 🏡🐶🐱

✨ Gomez Update — I CAN SEE! ✨

Wow, hoomans… look at my eyes — really look! I CAN SEE now! 💖

Thanks to my amazing foster mummy at the rescue and the wonderful Teresa at Lynfield Vets , my eyes and teeth have been fixed, and I feel like a whole new cat. I’m no longer squinting or hurting all the time — the world is brighter, clearer, and I finally feel comfortable and happy again.

I’m still on my recovery journey, we are testing if I need special food due to my previous eye problems, so please keep following my updates and help donate towards my last surgery where Teresa fixed my left eye again and remove 7 teeth .
My hooman says its cost alot along with special food... :( but she said I was too special to not help me ###

And… if you think you might like to adopt me in the future, my foster hooman would love to hear from you. We could even look at a foster-to-adopt while we see how my healing continues. My needs - only cat, indoors as I have fiv but doesnt bother me and possibly special food and of course LOTS AND LOTS OF CUDDLES AND ATTENTION

Ophelia Deserves Her Forever 💔➡️💖

Ophelia’s story is one we wish we didn’t have to tell — but it’s one that deserves a happy ending.

This beautiful young mum was first seen being given away on Facebook, along with her newborn babies 😢
No safety net. No plan. Just another cat trying to survive while caring for her kittens.

We stepped in to make sure Ophelia and her babies were safe. She did everything right — she raised her kittens, nurtured them, and put their needs before her own. When the time finally came for her to have a chance, she was adopted… but sadly, that home fell through.

And just like that, Ophelia found herself rejected for a second time 💔

Despite everything she’s been through, Ophelia hasn’t lost her spark.

Now she’s finally getting to be what she never had the chance to be — a playful, fun-loving young cat. She loves zooming up and down hallways, playing like a kitten, chatting away, She truly wants to be the centre of attention and soak up all the love she missed out on.

Ophelia enjoys people, chilled cats and kids 10+ Years .

What Ophelia wants most is simple: Not to be passed from house to house; Not to be overlooked again; But to have one loving home where she can feel safe, wanted, and cherished for the rest of her life.

If you think you could be the one to finally say “You’re home, Ophelia”, please get in touch.
She deserves a long, happy life — and a future filled with love 💖
