Hitting the streets
A dog’s walk is their time, a time to smell the roses and go at a pace best for them. However, I do make sure that they are well behaved so we can both have a nice walk. I treat each dog as though they are my own, and aim to make a connection with them that goes beyond the duration of the walk. I use gentle techniques to keep a dog focused, listening and responding to commands properly. At the end of each walk, I inform the owner of how the walk went, and if I was able, they get a picture with the update.
