Wake Field Heart Breaker - Noel Wake Field Heart Breaker is a 13.2hh pony stallion with an outstanding quiet temperament perfect for breeding well rounded, quiet and hardy ponies.

Wake Field Heart Breaker is a buckskin gone grey, 13.2hh. He is the 1st stallion to ever win a placing at Equidays Top Talent by being ridden with just a rope around his neck performing level 2 dressage moves, ridden at speed (including gallop to halt) and jumping in total control in front of 2,500 people! Multiple wins at pre-training eventing against adults. (Moving to training level this season

A win at a fun cowboy challenge (without previous training)
Showjumped to 95cm with wins (against adults)
And safely handled by a 15yr old on a daily bases, including going to pony club days and ridden bareback regularly with mares. His mother is one of those one in a million ponies who was jumping 1.05m with a 13yr old after being broken in for just 6 months and a pony that in 11months of being riden was doing everything from bare backing at the beach and teaching beginners, to show jumping at HOY, eventing and A&P showing. She is now a fantastic all rounder and pony club pony. His sire Rune Hollow Shamon was a beautifully quiet pony stallion known to produce very quiet progeny with Greenlee and Runehollow lines. He has now been gelded after producing over 80 foals on the ground to become a kids riding pony. Wake Field Heart Breaker is a good hardy type who would be fantastic to produce good solid ponies and hacks that the whole family can enjoy. No matter who you are, you would feel safe riding and being around him, everyone who meets him can't help but love this boy!

Not worked in about 2 months, 1st session back & this is what Sophia Thornton gets up to with our unbroken rising 4yr old WF French Kiss (Amour).
Our 1st WF Heartbreaker/Warmblood cross. Who is also going to be his 1st progeny over pony height at over 15hh already.
He is available to a new home now if the home is experienced in producing young horses, otherwise we will carry on training him until he is good enough for a less experienced home.

Honestly... no problem at all!
Missed Sophia cantering & jumping etc... took me a while to realize this is actually pretty rare to see & do. Or at least do it safely with the stallion super relaxed. 🥰
But got the end of her ride 😊

Full brother to our youngest stallion Wake Field Diamond.

Will make an awesome kids pony!
Full and half siblings are doing a mix of showjumping, western, lead rein, pony club and one has gone to an endurance home.
They are genuine all rounders!
Tough (good doers, strong feet), good heart rates, correct jump technique when not being lazy and are more like a family pet. They are just so willing to please!

We pulled Jasper out of the paddock 2 days ago to clean him up. Was his 2nd time with the hose, and 1st time doing some of our obstacles for photos. He was a little shy at first as you'd expect a lightly handled 2 year old, but really no drama.
WF Sapphire's foal tend to be a little more shy than our other crosses, which make them better for kids who are more gentle/quieter. In saying that, he is VERY used to dogs, tractors and the crazy life here at Wake Field.

These ponies are not cheap, but are well worth it! We also include lessons, training with the new family if needed so that the transition to a new home is smooth.

He is still a baby, so any potential homes need to have some level of home experience.

Our Story

As a 3 year old and newly broken in a 13yr old was riding him around without an issue.

As a 4yr old he did three ribbon days and most people mistook him as a gelding and winning Reserve Champion in the last one as well many other 1st and 2nd places.

As a 5yr old he competed at the Waikato Regional Dressage Champs and came 2nd in the 5yr old Championship with 62%. He did his first ever level 3 freestyle test at the Northland Regional Dressage Champs with 57.4% and at a local dressage event did his first official level 3 test with 59% and 3rd place.

He has now done very well in eventing. Went straight to pre-training (first time doing SJ and Xcountry away from home) with a 16yr old rider who had only just started eventing herself (and never completed a Xcountry round). At their first ever ODE they came 2nd in the dressage and 3rd over all!
