**The pug on this placard is Pearl, one of the Taumarunui 25, who sadly passed. Her trachea collapsed just days after she was removed from her puppy mill cage. Vet specialists worked hard and even placed a stent. But Peal was overcome with pneumonia and we couldn't save her.

This is Doug. He is a locally known escape artist who also pulls on his lead and jumps up. Right now we are working on his loose leash walking skills.
So far he is beginning to get the idea that if there is tension on the lead, he must come back to his handler.
It's amazing to see how force free training and patience (with some tasty treats too) really works.
