Yanah Bint Shaheen

Another precious jewel available to a good home.

Yanah Bint Shaheen is from a long line of exceptional horses. On her dam's side, the well known Yanah Ibn Estopa with the legendary Estopa lines. The showman himself Wind N Fire, again with strong Spanish lines. His dam Windella Silver Fire, who was also dam of both Redwood Lodge Estonia and Redwood Lodge Fire Walker.
Her sire is none other than the stunning Prince Fa Moniet grandson, Shaheen al Saba. Shaheen is a multi Champion in-hand and was also an open endurance horse. Shaheen is an incredibly beautiful sire, passing on his incredible fronts and the super pretty.

While Yanah Bint Shaheen has incredible show and breeding lines, she also has great performance lines, with her maternal half brother, the exceptional & prolific JA Kourage Under Fire. While she was started under saddle with only a couple of rides under her belt, an incident left her starting unfinished. She would have to be completely restarted or utilise her incredible breeding to secure these bloodlines.
She is a big 15hh quite baroque styled mare with a lot of presence about her. Yanah Bint Shaheen was shown lightly for 2016 NZ National Res Champion Junior Filly & 2015 South Island Res Champion Filly.

This mare is bred to breed on with such greats in her pedigree, both in the showring and the breeding barn, currently her talents are being wasted.

SHARIFA DH by fabulous stallion Shaheen Al Saba out of the very well performed SS Shula. Pregnancy tested in foal to the stunning registered purebred Arabian and current South Island Champion Stallion Masada Park Million Dollar Baby. Due to foal early September 2019.
Sharifa is an exception mare. She is the whole package having been started under saddle a year ago by Russell Higgins and then ridden out regularly including to the forest up until winter when she was turned out. She has also been shown in hand as a youngster, as well as been taught to work at liberty. She is a beautiful mare, super smart with a fabulous personality.
