Sorry for the long post ahead but with the start of our 2025-26 breeding season not far away we thought we would say a few things!
WE DO NOT RUN A WAITING LIST OR TAKE DEPOSITS FOR KITTENS THAT HAVEN’T BEEN BORN!!
If you are seriously interested in a kitten we suggest you let us know and keep an eye on our page. We announce when litters arrive and then when the babies are around 4 weeks old we post individual photos of each kitten and take enquires from there.
Just because you might be the first to enquire doesn’t always mean you will get the baby!
Please don’t be offend if I ask questions about you, your family and home. I like to know a little about the families wanting to adopt my babies as I feel very responsible for each and every baby that is born at Ragdoll Ranch.
I am there when they arrive into this world and take their first breath. I watch them grow and develop into the beautiful babies that leave Ragdoll Ranch.
We are happy for people to visit but only when the kittens are over 4 weeks of age. Please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a little longer to visit. Sometimes we have girls due or mummies that are having a little trouble settling with their babies so we try to keep things calm for them.
Unless going to a like minded Registered breeder all our kittens are DESEXED before leaving Ragdoll Ranch.
All our Kings and Queens are DNA tested clear for HCM & PKD and have all recently had vet checks.
We realise waiting can be hard and instead of waiting you may decide to buy off Trade Me or other social media place.
PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL there are a lot of scammers out there at present that will say anything to make easy money!! Be aware some scammers have been know to steal photos and videos of kittens just to make out they are legit!!
DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
If they say they are registered with either New Zealand Cat Fancy (NZCF) https://nzcf.com/breed or CATZ Inc https://catzinc.org/breeders-list/ you can check on the websites or contact the organisation’s secretaries (contact details on the websites) to double check. Some registered breeders do prefer not to list their names on the websites so do check with the secretaries if need.
