Emu oil products also available, perfect for the sensitive skin. Groups welcome by arrangement, guided tours provided for all age groups and morning/afternoon teas available. Blueberries are starting to appear in the supermarkets now, they are grown in the Hawkes Bay or further north where it is warmer than Wellington. Our berries will not be ripe until early January. It is looking like it’s going to be a good season, lots of flowers and lots of bees :)

We are closed for the week but will open at the weekend and will assess fruit availability closer to the time.

We are planning to open over the school holidays depending on the weather. The animals are here along with the real fruit blueberry ice creams so if you need somewhere out in the country to let the kids loose, bring them along.

We still have plenty of raw blueberry flower honey from our hives and plenty of honey comb.

Open today 11am to 4.30pm for PYO - It’s a cracker day

A lot of berries but they are small and fiddly to pick but ideal for the kids to get.

Animals to feed and real fruit blueberry ice cream to be had. We still have a good stock of our blueberry flower honey and honey comb.

There are still some berries left, probably not for the serious pickers but lots for the kids to fossick around and fine.
