☀🌱 In the summer months we see an increased number of puppies or dogs with parvovirus, this is partly because the conditions are favorable to the survival of the virus.
Parvovirus is an extremely contagious illness, with symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and it can lead to death.

The virus is spread through contact with contaminated f***s on surfaces like the ground, bedding, blankets, and bowls. Even a simple stroll can expose your dog to the virus. Parvovirus is persistent in the environment for many years, making prevention with vaccines crucial!

Any unvaccinated dog is susceptible to parvovirus, but puppies aged between 6 weeks and 6 months are at greater risk.
Protect your furry friends by ensuring they are up to date with vaccinations and by being careful in environments where the virus may be present 🐾 💔
