Puptrek was born out of my love of animals, the great outdoors, and knowing exactly what it feels like when you're counting down the minutes until you can get home to your dog. Here at Puptrek we understand how hard it can be going about your daily business while your dog is home alone. The importance of company, socialisation, decompression, exercise and enrichment is paramount for a well balance

Our pack treks are amazing on and off leash adventures with other doggy friends in the beautiful Queenstown Surrounds.Packs are chosen based on personality and exercise requirements, once we have an established pack, we keep them together so they always know who their trekking buddies are. If you have a dog that's home alone, is well socialised and has good general obedience then this is the option for you! Maximum of 5 dogs per trek with a few exceptions. Dogs are collected from home and taken on an exciting excursion. Door to door service. 2 hour duration from pick up and drop off. And for your peace of mind, Puptrek takes safety seriously. The Puptrek van is set up with comfy, individual, floor to ceiling, safety mesh compartments to keep your dog happy and safe, only dogs from the same household share. We are safety audited by Adventure Mark and we are overseen by The Department of Conservation. We pay fees and make an annual contribution to DOC to help with conservation. Puptrek is the only dog walking company in Queenstown that is safety audited and holds a 10 year DOC concession that allows us to utilise public conservation tracks legally as a professional, commercially operated business. Puptrek Dog Walks

Thanks for stopping by at Puptrek Queenstown, we’re here to ensure your furkid gets to enjoy the great outdoors with other doggy buddies. As a long time dog owner I understand the guilt of leaving our best friends at home while we go about our daily business. You can be safe in the knowledge that your doggo’s are in expert hands while getting the exercise and socialisation they need to keep them happy and healthy.

My name is Maria and I am a born and bred Queenstown local and an experienced, qualified Veterinary Nurse, I worked for a small animal practice in Wellington for four years. I worked for Masterpet Corporation both in New Zealand and Australia for eleven years, and the Otago SPCA for two years. This has made me very knowledgeable on all things pet related. Myself and my dog "Mouse" are proud supporters of "Pound Paws Oamaru" (where I adopted Mouse from) and I’m a volunteer transporter for Retired Working Dogs NZ. My self and Mouse enjoy amazing adventures in Queenstown’s spectacular outdoors. You’re welcome to join us!
