Hugo is a Newfoundland, they are commonly known as a water dog with their water-resistant coats and partially webbed toes mean that they were born to swim.

Unicorn was brought in by a member of the public on Monday. He was scanned for a microchip which was able to reunite him with his owner after being missing for several years.

There was alot of cuddles and tears. This story just shows the importance of microchipping your animals and having them registered on the Companion Animal Register. We wish them all the best 💝

We are excited to announce that we are giving our clinic a makeover in the next few months. Don’t worry, this will not affect the quality of service or care that we provide to you and your furry friends. Our experienced team will continue to look after your pets as usual.

We also want to inform you that Andrew Rissman has departed the Vet, Farm & Pet Clinic to pursue other opportunities, including finally taking his sons to walk the Rakiura Track on Stewart Island. He wishes all the best to our clients, patients and staff. We all wish him well in his future endeavours.

They are supported by our amazing team of nurses Pip, Georgie, Jo, Sophie and our friendly reception team of Vicki and Rhonda. We are looking forward to seeing you and your pets soon.
