Just some pics of the Tuesday crew swimming the end of their walk - a big bunch of water babies so they were a big fan! 😍
It been wonderful as the new dog settle in the pack to be able to change up our locations a bit - not that the dogs minds - however I like a change of scenery 😂 every location we walk at comes with its own obstacles and challenges, so I pick carefully when we’re working with new kids. I have a couple of videos to upload - stay tuned!

Oops- I forgot to post Wednesday’s walk- and it was my favourite! I tossed up going to the beach or to my favourite summer spot, and decided on fresh water 😂 spaniel heaven! They put the mahi in for a 2km walk to the swimming spot, have an absolute blast swimming, then 2km walk back to the van. And best of all, relatively clean dogs to drop home 🤣

Back at it again with the Monday crew! I feel like we lucked out with the weather today - it’s threatening to get warm but the overcast sky kept it pretty comfortable. Very proud of all the kids - while there were some VERY excited faced to see me, they were all on their best behaviour the farm!

When I get back from my holiday, I will do a bit of a round up post from Nationals. I’ll leave you with this picture as a general vibe though- taken at 9PM at night, indoors and covered in mud 🤣

Had the best time with friends, my dogs were absolute ✨ rockstars ✨ and now I’m off to read my book and drink cocktails for 5 days 😂 🥳

Happy Birthday George 🥳 🎉

What a special walk it was yesterday! An extra big one as most of the Thursday crew joined the Wednesday squad as I’m heading off on a cheeky two week break 😱

It was George the Golden Retriever’s 5th birthday, and he provided us with some treats to share 🎈🎁 he also told me he wanted to spend the walk swimming, so of course I obliged. Bit of a long video as I had forgotten to charge my camera battery, but it’s nice too peek behind the curtain and see what your dogs get up to on walks 🫶

Ahh.. the dreaded introduction. Something I’ve no doubt written countless times in my professional life, but still stumps me every time.

Hey folks, I’m Lauren. And I really, really like dogs. Is that good enough? 😉 No? Ok, a little more perhaps.

I have been working with dogs for the past 10 years, starting off at Animal Control and ended up in boarding kennels/doggy day care. I have been training professionally for the past 4 years.

I dabble in agility, obedience, and all things dogs really. I am passionate about people getting out and doing more with their dogs and helping make science accessible to the average dog owner.
