✨️ Update ✨️

I've lost track of who I have/haven't talked to, but now that I'm at the shop there is a price increase of $5-10.

I am able to do big dogs again, but my bath had to be raised up to drain properly. This means there is a restriction for XL and overweight dogs. If I can't get them into the bath, then I won't be able to groom them. There are also no appointments available before February, so I can't take new clients currently. Let me know if you'd like to go on the cancellation list 😊

Teddy was one of my first ever clients, and now he's getting old but he's still as cute as the day we met 🥰🥰🥰 still miserable about getting groomed though. Some things never change 😅

Just an update on my situation

I'm set up to continue grooming small dogs out of Scruffy 2 Fluffy, at the shops on the corner of Whakatiki st and Fergusson drive, so none of those appointments will be affected.
Please get in touch if you need to change an appointment, as I have space from cancelled big dog appointments.

The bath there is only 70cms long but there is hope that my bath can be installed there in future. We just have to ensure there is room and it will work with the other groomers, and plumbing.

In the meantime, Laveisha can cater to large dogs so give them a try.

Unfortunately, effective immediately, I can no longer operate out of 8 Whirinaki Crescent.

For this coming week, I will be operating out of Scruffy 2 Fluffy on Whakatiki Street, while I figure out what to do. However, I cannot groom big dogs there so I'll be in touch to cancel these appointments.

Sorry for the huge inconvenience this will cause. I'm unsure when/if I'll be able to do big dogs in the future 😔

Monty 💔

He was already an old boy when we met in 2019, but he had a strong will to live. At different times, both his back legs dislocated, requiring surgery and bed rest. He healed up fine, and was still bouncy and running around on his last visit. He was the sweetest old boy, loved everyone and was always happy. It was special being able to care for him in his old age, and he will be terribly missed 😭

Molly 💔

Molly has been with me on my groomer journey since the beginning. I've been seeing her every 6 weeks since 2018 so it's devastating to lose her 😢 but she had a great, long life. She was hilariously over being groomed in the final year, as shown in the last photo. She would look at me like "I'm too old for this s**t, let me nap"
