K9 Cough incidents...

I have called all of our customers that have their dogs scheduled to be booked in tomorrow. I have confirmed today speaking to the vets that there are multiple cases of K9 cough over New Zealand. We have done everything possible to minimize the spread here at the kennels. We will understand if you want to cancel your booking. We had one dog with K9 cough that is isolated now. Washed down the kennels (sanitized the kennels). Not much more we can do. As per the link shared on our previous post, your dog can get it from someones close, foot path, grass .... very contagious. If your dog were vaccinated against K9 cough they can still get it, but their bodies will be in a better state to fight the disease. We only have the best interest for your fur baby so please don't bring your fur baby in if he/she is sick/coughing. Also reassess if you want to bring your fur-baby into the kennels or for that matter, taking your dog for a walk in an area outside your home. Kindly let us know if you want to cancel your booking for this weekend and or next week.

Hey Everyone, we have had a dog that has presented Canine Cough.
While we have isolated the dog and done a deep sanitarian clean we can only do so much.
If your dog is presenting any unusual sneezing or cough, please keep him/her at home and seek veterinary treatment and do not bring him/her into the kennels.

SH3 MT MESSENGER, TARANAKI – RESURFACING

Plan ahead for ROAD CLOSURES over Mt Messenger for essential resurfacing works as per the schedule below:

OVERNIGHT ROAD CLOSURES: Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 November from 8pm-5am
• opening between midnight to 1am to clear traffic

ROAD CLOSURE: from 7pm Friday 15 to 4am Monday 18 November. As there is no detour available during the weekend CLOSURE, the road will re-open at the scheduled times each day to let queued vehicles through:
• Midnight to 1am
• 5am to 7am
• 12pm to 1pm
• 5pm to 7pm

OVERNIGHT ROAD CLOSURES: Monday 18 to Friday 22 November from 8pm-5am,
• opening between midnight to 1am to clear traffic.

During each scheduled opening, traffic will be cleared one lane at a time before the road closes again. If you need to travel, please ensure you arrive at the site in time for the start of the scheduled opening, to ensure you get through the site.
