Here’s a client I’ve been working with lately and her horse that’s been giving her trouble loading.

I managed to get some before and after footage so gives you idea of the change. It’s still a work in progress as this horse has been problematic for a while and has had a few trainers have a go. But pleased with the progress so far.

Most common float/truck/van loading issues in my opinion tend to be a lack of respect by the horse on the ground for the handler, not so much the vehicle itself. If you would like to know more or have questions please pm or contact me on 027 414 7007, cheers

I’ll accompany you on one of my horses as a buddy and walk you through how I approach things to help gain confidence for you or your horse in a safe manner.

Hi all,

Nice to see spring starting to roll in, I’m enjoying working with your horses in some sunshine now!

Quick update to say I have a new service starting soon that looks to benefit the green horse/rider that lacks confidence - stay tuned

Also looking to roll out a few clinics in the coming months, working through some dates at the mo so will let you know where and when soon.

I’m based in waimauku but tend to cover greater Auckland and further a field on occasion.

Here are some recent pics of handling/groundwork with young stock from Escott Estate Equestrian . Amazing at even 3/4 months old what understanding foals can have of following a feel, pressure/release. Thanks for having me

Here is a client I've been working with. She's been having loading issues, sometimes taking up to an hour to load or not at all which has caused her to miss a few shows. It's reared, it's run off and put up a performance in general.

I got the opportunity to catchup with a friend from Canada last week Debra Garside Photography , we headed out to see/photograph the Kaimanawa's at Waiouru. It was a privilege to see them in their natural environment. Was great to witness how wild herds live and observe their natural behaviour. They were all in good condition, plenty of tucker around.

Have you or are you loosing confidence to ride? Does your horse lead you around or walk over the top of you? Is it a struggle to get your horse loaded? Perhaps something else?

Welcome, here's a little about me.

I've spent the last 15 years working with horses in a range of settings around NZ and some time in Canada. I've been working with horses in the Film industry for the majority of my time, but between films my work has consisted of starting, training and retraining horses, float and truck loading, handling young stock, running horse camps, competing and teaching lessons

All this time has set me up well to have a good understanding of horses and humans. I'm passionate about helping you and your horse gain confidence and trust in each other with clear leadership in a safe way.

I look forward to working with you and your horse.
