Last to go out today were Dimmi and Kindred, and they had a blast zooming around in the sand and water. Lots of fun and play, despite the bird scaring that was going on down this end of Waipawa. 😊

Our walk today in Waipawa ☀️

Seems a few others were also out with their dogs or fishing in Waipawa, so we stuck to our one spot and made the most of it. All three dogs loved to have a swim in the sun. Even Reilly got all the way in today!

Update: I am working today and have grouped everyone in 2 groups. I will not be going too far from my car due to needing my inhaler and spacer quite frequently, so we won't be doing much distance today. (Well, I won't)

I did get to see a doctor yesterday afternoon fortunately, but they sent my script to the wrong pharmacy 🤦‍♀️ So they're having it couriered down to the local one. Hopefully it arrives later today or tomorrow morning.

Sorry everyone, but my asthma has been rapidly getting worse over the past 4 days and I'm trying to get in to a doctor in Hastings to see if there's anything more that can be done to help. I haven't had issues like this in years, so this is not something that I normally have to deal with.

I will be contacting everyone. I realize it's quite a lot of you as Monday is busy, and I am really sorry it's last minute. Been on hold for a while and don't think I want to risk making it worse when I am usually out there by myself. :(

A flashback to some of my first walking buddies! A collection of photos I surprisingly still had on my phone, from my first client dog Red in July '22, through to some Summer pics. It's been over a year now since I started Woof & Whiskers, and it has been exciting to grow and make friends along the way. We've been through a cyclone and many other personal matters, both good and bad. I got engaged! I've been a part of other people's families, seen them grow (congratulations!), and I've seen hardship, which has been the toughest part. I hope some of these memories can put a smile on everyone's faces this morning. I know I very much need it at the moment.
