Only one week to go until Connie May is due.... she's currently enjoying a relaxing rural retreat (and by retreat I mean at home on the farm lol) and getting plenty of rest 😴
•
We won't be taking any new puppy enquiries until our current waitlist has been fulfilled. There will be plenty of puppy photos for everyone soon though! 😍
•
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine! I'm just back from my trip to the UK and it was -4° there some nights it's been a bit of a shock to the system getting back into the heat! ☀️

We are kicking off 2025 with the best news... after a long wait and a lot of planning we are absolutely over the moon to be expecting our first Burwell x Burwell litter 🎉🤩❤️🖤

Our resident sweetheart, Connie May, and the very handsome Cooper from our Ivy x Sam litter (Shorestaff Artemis Black Ivy x Shadowstaff Slippery Sam at Challenger) compliment each other beautifully and their temperaments are outstanding 🥰
•
Puppies are due mid January, and we're hoping for a lovely mix of reds & brindles. Connie is currently enjoying extra treats and cuddles at home getting spoilt rotten! And first time dad Cooper is looking forward to meeting his pups once they are old enough 🥰

✨ And then there were four.... ✨
•
2024 has been a big year for us with farm projects, house renos and two beautiful litters from Pearl & Ivy. And between all of that we have made the decision to move back to the UK in April next year 🇬🇧
•
It's been an incredible 18 years in NZ! But time for a new life chapter to begin 📖
Putting our dogs needs first, we had to find new homes for Ivy, Rudy and Fletcher. They all need more than we can offer them in UK and they have all settled perfectly into their new homes 🥰 Ivy gets to go on pack adventures every day, Rudy (now called Te Tahi) is living his best life in Rotorua, and Fletch is with our good friends just down the road on a beautiful lifestyle block 🌾
•
This is not the end for Burwell though! We still have NZ plans and when we go back we'll be living where it all began.... Staffordshire ✌🏼️ Burwell is going international 😅

Took the girls out for an on-leash training walk.... we were all a little bit rusty! 🤪 We're so used to off leash freedom at the farm and beach it was a good refresher for everyone 🤓

A few photos from our Christmas Ribbon Parade yesterday... it was a a great morning with fabulous people and gorgeous Staffords 🤩

We had quite the Burwell turnout! With Fletch (Burwell Ace of Swords), Mitch (Burwell Readas Fenix) and .staffy (Burwell Cora Boomerakee) and this made me very proud 😍 And let's not forget the one and only...... Shadowstaff Pearl Duchess at Burwell 🤍

Huge thank you to everyone who made yesterday such a fun day and to the Northern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club for organising everything. This is our last show of the year and it'll be Christmas before we know it!🎄🎅🏼🎁

🎀 NSBTC Ribbon Parade 🎀

Our last show of the year and it's going to be a goodie! The Northern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club's Ribbon Parade will be a fun day out for anyone wanting to try their hand in the show ring 🏆

We will have a lovely mix of experienced folk and newbies all heading into the ring with their beautiful Staffords 🤩 Sunday 1st December at 10.30am, bring cash for entries and raffles, plus a deck chair and some snacks... looking forward to seeing everyone! 😍

We've had a busy few weeks with raising & training puppies 🐶, farm jobs 🪵, moving hay 🌾, taking far too many photos of dogs 😆 and I got my left carpal tunnel done so all farm jobs are currently done with one hand 😅
