This week we upped our game and had these 2 stunners who not only look identical but both answer to the same name - Murph and Murph! 🐾

We are continuing the Kelpie streak for our wagger of the week this week with another one of our herding specialists - Aurora!

My official name is Peggy but I also answer to Crackhead.

I am a 3 year old Kelpie Hunterway X. My dad loves to embrace his inner bogan and named me after a character in Outrageous Fortune, and I was also born in the bogan capital of the South, Invercargill!

Some of my favourite things are chasing sticks, my mum, my toys, my sister, shadows and lights and of course HERDING STUFF! I dislike flying humans, like when they are paragliding and inside a hot air balloon. How can I keep track of you when you are in the air?!

Fun fact: I've never lived on a farm or been trained to herd, but I'm still an expert at it, it is in my genes! My sister is teaching me how to catch rabbits, I even caught one once but the shock of actually catching it was too much for me to handle!

I even herd my humans when they try and separate from the pack. I like to ensure everyone is in a tight bunch and no one strays from the group, otherwise I will be sure to let you know and steer you back into the correct position, whether you want to go there or not. I excel at orderly fashion

I joined the Dog Squad this year and I loooove chasing all the dogs and yep you guessed it, keeping everyone in line! My mate Peggy helps me and our favourite target is Buster who thinks he can out run us but we will never stop!

This wagger of the week has an irresistibly sweet face and was born to RUN! It's Peggy!

My official name is Peggy but I also answer to Peg Peg, I was named Peg because my mums name is Sue!

I am an 18 month old Australian Kelpie and I was born in Scone in South Australia.

Some of my favourite things are chasing anything that moves! Running fast! Running in circles! Running here, there and everywhere, I love running! When I'm not running I'm partial to a bone or three! 🦴

I was trained to be a sheep dog on a Australian farm but it turns out I am actually afraid of them so there wasn't a job for me anymore! My humans dad rescued me and mailed me to NZ in May where I am now living a new dream in Wanaka! Kelpie paradise and sheep free! 🐑

I joined the Dog Squad last month and I love rounding up the other dogs with my fellow Kelpie mate Aurora! I chase everyone in the crew, big and small, especially Buster who can't believe he can't out run me and tire me out! 🐾

This week Ted dusted off his Southland rugby jersey, Ralph changed colour, Buster lost and found his jacket 6 times, Roxy and Peggy were back in action and we welcomed our 10th vizsla CJ and Doug the Pug! 🐾

This week we have a pair for our wagger of the week! A couple of Briards who's breed is often described as a "heart wrapped in fur" Say hello to Molly and Oliver!

Originally from Christchurch, they moved to Queenstown 4 years ago, and are now enjoying their life in wanaka. Since moving to the region they have become the ultra adventure dogs - embracing everything the region offers from hiking, trail running, skiing, climbing and even kayaking !

Molly is 5 years old and the cool calm and collected of the pair. She is the adventurer and her main purpose in life is to run and chase rabbits.

Oliver is 8 years old, but you'd think he was a puppy with his over the top enthusiasm and incessant need to be considered a lapdog. His main role in the Dog Squad is to chase the other dogs around in circles, and is convinced he is smaller than he really is (which is not small!)

We love having such a diverse range of breeds and personalities in the squad!
