Sheepworld was formed with the purpose of giving visitors a practical hands-on New Zealand farming experience. Visitors of all ages get the opportunity to hold, pat, feed, and truly encounter farm life first-hand. Our interactive farm park north of Auckland features sheep and dog shows along with animal feeding sessions. Surrounds include our eco-trail through New Zealand native bush, playground f

acilities, and an on-site family-friendly Cafe. Our farm is home to many incredible animals, and we are committed to giving them the best care. Sheepworld is located on State Highway One, just a few mins out of Warkworth.

We have some exciting news...

The awesome team at Rama's Real Fruit Ice-Cream are setting up their machines as we speak. 🍓🍦

We will have Real Fruit Ice Cream at Sheepworld - ALL SUMMER LONG. 🎉

Kicking it off this Labour Day Weekend! Treat the kiddos for an ice cream while you grab coffee and lunch at the Sheepworld Cafe. With a playground, iconic Shearing Shows and plenty of Farm Animals to hand feed (and cuddle), Sheepworld is the place to be this Summer Season.

We are OPEN on Labour Day Monday. Shearing Shows are 11am & 2pm Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Check our website for the daily schedule and to book online if you like to be organised.

Did you know that the Springboard alternative education centre is based here at Sheepworld?

In 2021, Sheepworld was purchased by Springboard Community Works, a not-for-profit youth education organisation founded by Gary Diprose in 2002.

Sheepworld was purchased to provide real world training opportunities for young people as well as providing an alternative funding avenue. Springboard is a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving the life outcomes for youth and families in need.

All profit from the Sheepworld farm park, cafe & retail store contributes to the work that Springboard does in our local community.

400 sheep in one weekend!! We're so delighted to share with you: Two of our young staff who have just completed group training in shearing sheep. Keisha and Aria are both amazing workers on our Farm who present shows and keep things ticking along really well around here each day - so it's awesome to see them both upskill to be able to shear as well!! Special mention for Keisha overcoming disabilities to take this big step forward. Your perserverance is incredible and inspiring! So proud of you both!!

They were born on St Patrick’s Day!! Nine piglets are being bottle raised by our amazing Farm team, here at Sheepworld, after a complicated birth with our Mumma pig, Dippy. ..Mumma and babies are now all doing very well, and one wee little piglet remains in Dippy’s care. Introducing Coco! Coco is a super friendly 18 year old standardbred horse that belongs to one of our farm workers here, Keisha! We are so grateful to have him join us at Sheepworld, and he is very excited for you to come visit, and feed him!

Sometimes things don’t go as we planned, and sometimes things go better than we could ever imagine 🥹💗 Luna Moon our goat is now the proud Mumma of three beautiful kids and we couldn’t be happier for her!! 🐐❤️
