Just a little note to say I am now fully booked until the end of January.

I do try to remember to book all your fur babies in but do need your help to remind me. So if you don’t have your future bookings please let me know and I ask you to be patient!

I am just moving house so my brain is pretty scrambled.

My booking app is closed for you to make bookings it doesn’t give the option to change the length of the grooms they are just generic. Therefore I will often have space in between to grooms, if that makes sense.

At the training I attended a few weeks back I was very fortunate 🙏 to attend Jades behaviour training from The DBT dog behaviour training.
I learnt so much in such, from recognising body language that I would otherwise missed, for example licking lips,turning towards a lifted foot🐾. I now reassure the dogs, as they are telling me they are not sure or scared.

I have been able to incorporate it into my daily grooming routine. I am by no means perfect and hope to do more training with Jade.

Feeling quite proud!
I am hopeless at taking photos and again I forgot the before pic. However, I don’t groom many Westies.
A lovely lady came to me as I had been recommended. I did explain that although I have been grooming for 5 years now I haven’t had many westies.

She has so much faith in me, more than I had in myself. I had been planning this for about 8 weeks and she was coming to see me for nail trims during this time.

Grooming day came and we are both sooo happy with the outcome.

Sorry for the long post.

The top of her head hadn’t grown much so I haven’t taken any off, also the legs. It is by no means perfect but it’s a start!

I did this on Wednesday and last night I received a beautiful text🙏

Had the most amazing day at learning heaps as usual.
Kathlena and Nathen Austin were amazing, learnt lost about anatomy and setting a groom tips and tricks.

was awesome so much information about so many things but what I loved most was his energy and encouragement.

Can’t wait for tomorrow. Don’t forget it’s open to the public tomorrow. Grooming competition, agility and everyone’s must see….. A dog owners guide to maintaining your dog’s coat at home.
