Home away from home doggy daycare/boarding at my beautiful dog-friendly property in Martinborough. The daily rate is $40 up to 8hrs.

Overnight and over 8 hrs $50 per day.

Day two.
Lost in translation.

Today Quang, my driver, drove me to Hoi An. We ventured over the Hai Van Pass, highest mountain in VN. Looped back through the 8 klm tunnel beneath said mountain, the longest in VN.

Quang does not speak English and my one week of Duolingo hasn’t really stuck. We managed to communicate through Google translate.
I typed “ I need the bathroom”
Quang leapt to his feet and off we drove for miles until we reached Lap An Lagoon, a popular swimming hole and waterfall.
Not the “ bathroom” I had in mind. Sooooo
After my ‘swim’ we drove on then climbed the stairs at Marble Mountain, not recommended!
