☀️Summer Term Groups☀️

Hi everyone!

We have sensed that there might be a bit of a demand for some summer group riding 😆

These groups in the photo below will run for 4 weeks from the 7th of January, up until the 2nd of February. Send us an email to book your spot, Will be first in first served and must be at a suitable level to ride in a group🐴☀️🌾

Hi all! We are closing a little earlier this year due to an extra special event in the Callaghan family 💒👰🏻‍♀️💍

The 8th of December will be our last day open for 2024, we will reopen on the 7th of
January in 2025 🌞🕶️🐴

The booking system has been completely booked out for the remainder of the year, and you may notice that we are not running at full capacity on a couple days (double private lessons) so we apologise in advance if you are trying to book a lesson slot on the website before Christmas, you will see there is nothing to book.

I will post up lesson cancellations on Facebook for anyone who might want to grab a last minute lesson before the silly season.

From the 7th January 2025 to the 4th 2025of February we will be taking lessons from the booking system.
During this period, if there is demand we would set up a couple summer evening adult group sessions. Send us an email if this would interest you!

Our standard timetable of group lessons and permanent private lessons will start back up on the 4th of February 2025, so please flick us a quick email when you can to confirm if you would like to keep your lesson that you currently have and continue this for term 1 of next year. If I don’t hear from you, I will assume you are happy to continue in the same group or time slot, but a confirmation would be ideal.

Holiday programme 21st - 24th & 28th - 31st of Jan. Email to book. More details to come next year.

Please bear with us, if you email after the 8th of December, we will be in wedding mode/holiday mode so we will not be replying to emails until the new year 🥂

New Treadlite Premium Arenas NZ surface down in the indoor today!! ✅✅✅

Our horses health and wellbeing is always at the very top of our priority list and this treadlite surface provides a soft cushioning feel to help keep our horses joints healthy and their bodies happy. It also helps to keep the dust down that can accumulate from the sand surface in group lessons especially in dry weather.

🎃 Halloween Holiday Programme 🎃

Halloween is the theme for our October holiday programme, each day will involve bringing the ponies in from the paddocks, grooming, feeding, tacking up, group riding lessons and Halloween inspired games and activities 👻🐴🎃

1st - 4th October
8th - 11th October
9am - 3pm
$150 per day

If you own your own pony, send us an email. We tailor our lessons to the level and ability of each individual rider and have plenty of yards available.

Halloween costumes are welcome and encouraged 🤪🧙🏻‍♀️🔮

🦄 Birthday Parties 🦄

Have a birthday party to remember!

Parties are held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 3.30pm - 5pm. You will have the entire indoor arena to yourselves so the party can go ahead in any weather 🌦️

We provide 2 lovely ponies and 2 instructors for the mounted games portion of the party 🎉

Cost: $50 per child, and require a minimum of 8 children. A $100 deposit is required to confirm the booking.

We had two surprise guests at the holiday programme today!

Andrea Raves who is an elite ESNZ coach, has represented NZL at Grand Prix and has trained Chelsea from level 1 through to Grand Prix. Chelsea and Andrea gave a lesson demonstration, discussing the scale of training and answering some hard hitting questions.

We also had Lynley Moroney who is an Equine Muscle Release Therapist. Lynley is an important part of Team Callaghan and gave a demonstration on the work that she does to keep our horses feeling top notch.

Big thanks to these amazing ladies for sharing their passion and knowledge with our young riders.

Our July holiday programme is just a week away 🐴

9th - 12th July
16th - 19th July

$150 per day
9am - 3pm

No experience needed, totally beginner friendly!

Each day consists of:
Bringing horses and ponies in from the paddocks, grooming, tacking up, a riding lesson tailored to the level of each rider, feeding, covering ponies, games and activities. There may be some mucking out involved too 😉🧹🧽🧼

Rain, hail or shine we can go ahead in the comfort of our indoor arena 🌧️❄️☀️
