We are a NZDGBA registered stud and are CAE and JD free. Kids are born in July to October every year, EOIs for kids open.

Fun day at Amberley show with the team.
Great comments about our AR two year old who is in her first lactation which is what we are aiming for with the Nubians, her results were Reserve Champion AR Doe and Best of Breed Nubian.
Also absolutely stoked with our frozen semen doe kids, both AR and HR doe kids beating the goatlings out for Champion junior Does and the lovely HR doe kid from the Aussie semen we used this season also won the Presidents Choice Medal can’t wait to see these girls mature over the next couple of years 😍🤩

We have decided to sell a couple of does with keeping some of the frozen semen kids we need to keep our numbers sitting level so we don’t start collecting too many again 😅
Devoux Ethel a 3 year old doe in her second lactation she is a machine milk only (we are currently hand milking her and she kicks so wouldn’t be keen to sell her as a hand milker) she gives us between 3-4 litres a day and is a great natured friendly doe.
Devoux Esther a doeling out of Ethel but unfortunately was only able to be registered as an RG so selling as a pet or future milker she is super sweet and we aren’t in a hurry to rehome her
Two Boer x Saanen kids one doe one buck, both have been dehorned and are on the self feeder we were going to keep and raise for the freezer but also happy to sell as pets but will require bottle feeding for another 8 weeks 😊

Great day at Ellesmere A&P Show, highlights would definitely be winning the new Junior Supreme they are trialling which I think is a wonderful way to encourage people to continue entering their junior stock. Achieving champion and reserve champion AR Junior Doe was pretty neat as well! And have to give a shout out to wee Floss our 2 year old AR Doe who got 5th in the AR udder class such as can be a challenge to place in the udder classes with the Nubians against the true milking breeds so glad that we are starting to make some progress in this direction hopefully she improves again with her next kidding 😁
Congratulations to everyone else showing today there were some truely lovely goats on show today!
