The girls have gone to their outside pen today. Seeing them bounce around and explore the world is one of my favourite things to do, and I honestly could sit and do so all day if I was able to. Fern has been disbudded, and I’m lucky enough that Cajeta is polled.
I’m hand milking Hera every day, twice a day and she is giving me plenty of milk to feed the kids with, as well as extra to freeze so I can begin experimenting with recipes once I have a bit more time.
I hope everyone enjoys the snippet of the girls running around on the grass. I can’t wait for summer to finally arrive!
